The ipad 2 was the same 1 gig as the ipad 1, but was noticeably faster. I also feel that much of the underhanded side of apple comes from their shareholders, Al Gore comes to mind. The share holders are driving this company. I think that the way they are handling their current short fall of ipad 3's is a good example. The people that preordered have already paid, so they should get their product before the store customers...which have not paid as of yet. I have not ordered an ipad 3 yet, so don't o there. I'm not sure I am yet, until I'm sure the 1 and 2 are going to become obsolete, which I expect they will.
How long have you been told this is coming? It's easy really...you melt the ice...it changes the ocean's currents, a new ice age begins. Not hard. I have been telling you guys that the u.k. was going to be first for at least 3 years now. The only reason that island is habitable is becaus of the heat the oceans bring it. This isn't a surprise. Read a book already.
List through all 50 gazillion semi professional apps available that are now cheap and portable, and doing everything from art and design, to education, to engineering, to saving lives in the medical field...or on the battlefield? Not to mention what little is available for android looks like it was put together by a high schooler...it's irritating to even look at some of those apps, much less use.
You will be remember as the organization that killed music. What a legacy. What the RIAA doesn't seem to understand is that everyone can and does make music of their own now. These "musicians" (actors/dancers/ poducers and everything but...) have very little to offer us anymore accept the occasional nip flash or up the skirt shot. Reduced to whores just as they wanted it obviously.
For trying it out. It certainly feels like the first thing Microsoft is getting right in a longtime. It's like they had to give up and give in to be reborn. They are getting pretty good at imitating thier competition at this point. So a cheaper version of t he iPad is very interesting. I have no need for office...that stuff is like 30 yeas old now...we should move on already. The big problem is, as been stated, development of apps. I do some amazing things with an iPad. If I could do things like ... Make music and art, and learn new topics to a high degree like on an iPad...I'm in. The big problem with Microsoft is thier philosophy of imitating others, but attempting to do it more cheaply, as by the time they get rolling on a "new" product everyone else has moved on.
Thank you, I've been bitching about this for months. It wasn't a problem until iOS 5. The people pushing the iPad to do something besides surf porn know it's a problem. Though safari is one of the worst offenders at this point. iOS 5 is a completely unstable release, and I can not wait for a new iOS in what ever form. Just for the facts...I have been a Mac user since the mid/ late nineties and I have bitched on Mac forums about this issue. My complaint was promptly removed.
It's own problem, not the p.c. makers. It's success is in tying you to it's products so that you stop yourself from buying an android and buy an iphone instead. I recently became an ipad user, guess what stops me from doing what I want on the ipad? Itunes. I can't just buy an ipad and use it, I have to have an ipad AND a computer, and if I'm tied to itunes I might very well buy an apple computer...especially if I'm a young, or first time buyer. How long before this is considered a monopoly and apple gets pinged like microsoft did?
