Kay Burley ate my hamster

Re: The voters hate Osborne

If it cost more to run than it brought in perhaps it needed to be higher. The tax rate has been much higher in the past without bank bailouts crippling the country.

Surface RT

Now it all makes sense, it was announced last week that the RT version of Win10 would be late. I guess adding the extra hardware platform (probably a management afterthought) slowed/set back development. I was thinking they were phasing out support for ARM because of the poor sales of Surface RT devices.

Why has sexy Apple gone to bed with big boring IBM?

Kay Burley ate my hamster

TL:DR

Skipped to the end, at least El Reg remembered Power PC, many (the verge, bbc) had forgotten.

However my point? I don't really have one. They were never competitors, there was never any hate, it was just a marketing campaign.

Apple embraced the IBMPC platform in the end didn't they, perhaps they need to move back to RISC now that ARM is getting to Intel like levels of processing...

Bad Precedent

I don't give a crap what Apple do, I know they are evil. I look at these specs and see a £400 cheapo computer.

What annoys me is that this will be copied. Now that Apple have done it Dell will do it, once the hatred has died down HP will do it.
