Some responders are defending Google as though it were being attacked. Where is this so? The article seems quite friendly to me.
On the principle that the tighter they grip, the more slips through their fingers.
Hopefully, this would increase the market for, say, Bitcoin.
It's insane that prohibition has put so much cash into the black economy; we risk creating meta-nation of criminals.

Since the US has to put up with free speech on the internet at the moment, everyone else should have to, also.

Apparently, it's almost impossible to take a video and make it a compressed video without violating someone's "patents"
