i switched from pipex (bastards screwed me over royally tried to charge me £1000 because they switched my package without informing me) to sky 16mbit and i have to say it really does create a slight twinge in my groin area every time i go to download stuff

and i mean EVERY time, i regularly max it out at 1.4mb/s from places that allow such speeds, and from what i've seen they don't turn the dial down during peak times

i literally couldn't be happier with broadband, its like the first time i switched from dial up to adsl some 10 years back!

its a lil different than the wii situation, because in the UK eeeeverybody wanted one; stock was sold out because altho there were tens of thousands being sent here, demand was outstripping stock 5-1 easily (i got offered £300 for mine but that look my nephew gives me when hes disappointed could make birds fall out of the sky so passed it up)

so in JP all they've done is underestimated it by a few thousand

altho the guy is well and truly worthy of wearing the FoTW badge, i just have to stick up for the poor lil bastards being slandered

the problem with staffies is the origins for which they come from. just like any dog, they can be vicious and switch if not treated right, but because they're a very tough dog, when they do switch they tend to cause a lot more damage

but also because they're tough, ppl think they'd make great show-of-force dogs, or guard dogs (they're SHIT guard dogs, too inquisitive, terrier nature) and its these ppl who are raising em wrong and raising them to be vicious

you check the stats for dog attack instances per breed over the last 20 years and staffies have only been rising since mid 90s or so when the prices dropped of pups (they used to be like 800, now can be 150) and they became another chavcessory that it started to rise

i have a staff and shes the sweetest dog in the world, and i've had 4 before her and never once have they gone for anyone, and when i play or fight with them they have an amazing ability to attack, pin, and subdue you without ever breaking the skin (very funny party piece btw)

we should just ban chavs from owning dogs and it will be fine :D

so i reckon that figure is only about 75-85% of the actual figure if the stock was available

as i'm only 23 my days in school were kind of inbetween the lack of violence towards pupils but the threat of it was still there - you were still convinced some of the meaner looking teachers would give you a clip (and some did but we deserved it)

my fave instance of all was in french, we had this beautiful teacher, mustn't of been older than 25 or so

so about 10 of us sang "loving you" to her, with this perticular weedy kid hitting the high note at the end, had her red as a berry each time :D

most annoying thing we ever did was prolly killing the power in the shop class - we had 3 cut offs spread around the class so when teacher was on one end we'd trip one, so he'd reset it and nobody would admit it, start up again - and someone else would do it

would conitnue til one day he went ape shit and started screaming at us all, calling us little bastards who have no respect haha
