I was a transmission operator in the Deep South for over 3 years and animal caused black outs on a very regular basis. Squirrels, snakes, turkeys, raccoons, possums, etc etc..all get up on outdoor Distribution and Transmission buses shorting phases and causing "differential" trips on the breakers.
The hype surrounding the launch of the Segway ?? Gonna change the world, bigger than the PC, etc.. even the same venture funding driven excitement. That was, of course, a $5000 dog - In the famous words of George Santayana ;Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
This is not even slightly correct - I was not asked for anything like this. Apart from the proper paperwork I took nothing to the interview except my wife, who is American by birth. The basic law is that you have to be married for 3yrs, or longer, for the green card to remain valid. If you are granted the green card before then it is conditional. These questions are only asked if the officer feels you have a marriage of convenience.
Overall the immigration process is very straight forward if you have a legitimate claim to the status you are requesting.

Incorrect - Every applicant for a "green card" must attend an in person interview with an immigration officer before it is approved. The immigration process involves a number of steps and the interview is the final step before permanent residence is granted. This was actually the one and only time I spoke with an official during my application, and in 20yrs have not needed to speak to another one.
As a keeper of Chickens in America I know the perils of counting your eggs before they are made into McNuggets. Pretty much every mammal alive loves a chicken dinner and without a fence and properly secured roost the chickens will be killed before they can be sold. So a chicken won't help anyone, but add a shed and some, lets say, chicken wire and you might be on to something.
Not really...those incidents above were caused by a myriad factors - none of which was an mis-operation of a SCADA scheme, (although incorrect SCADA readings played a minor role in the Niagara/Upper Eastern States blackout). Also, the "ivory" towered[sic] executives do know all about the risks and there is some amount of cost savings being applied - However, SCADA security flaws are the sole responsibility of the SCADA vendor not the user.

True - But a squirrel, (or rat, snake, possum etc...), can not cause an N-2 or greater outage so are not a real threat to the system security. Transmission SCADA systems, on the other hand, can automatically open breakers in a matter of seconds in respond to the initiation of a number of different load shed schemes and hence have a built in vulnerability that must be protected from cyber intrusion.
Not all these schemes are failures. My children go to Hoover, AL school district and the IT department is very capable. The kids share and collaborate in the class rooms and undertake standardised testing using the devices. The software is clean, effective and seems to aid the teachers/kids rather than becoming burdensome. Oh, by the away - these are $200 chromebooks

I look forward to you articles - but you really do have this wrong. Most of the workers left at the plant will die from raditaion effects in the next ten years or so. You are trying to use your knowledge to underplay a situation that steadily gets worse by the minute, (as the saying goes a little knowledge is a dangerous thing).
Please go back to destorying the armed forces upper brass and decision makers as you are actually very good at that.

Absolute economic fail! Here in the States we can rent a movie for a night for 50pence at a "Redbox". Stunningly stupid to even sugguest that people will 40movies at $9.99 each.
Maybe you should write for PC World or something.
