I don't understand why the "Huawei Cyber Security Evaluation Centre" is a new or unique thing.
I would expect our governments to apply the same rigorous code checking on all crucial comms equipment.
We know that the equipment from the US has backdoors in, we know this because every country does this where possible. These Evaluation Centres should be looking at all tech
Had the Nexus 4, currently have and love the Nexus 5 but would have upgraded to the 6 but the screen is just too damn large. I like to be able to use a phone single handed (not for that reason) so I think this one will pass me by...
Luckily the Nexus 5 is still a solid phone, and the previews of lollipop on it appear to have gone well.
The TV box looks interesting though, guessing I'd be able to install the Plex app on it?
not sure if I missed something, but are they saying that we receive less SPAM but our SPAM is more likely to contain a dodgy URL? If so, presumably that doesn't matter, what would be interesting would be any figures on conversion/click-thru rates
Any dodgy spammers/phishers out there willing to shed some light on where they succeed the most?
Actually it is in their interest to provide the key, if people do a cursory search and see that no one ever got their files back then they won't bother paying, but if they see lots of posts from (un)happy customers with their data unencrypted they are far more likely to have a punt for $300
from what I've read it seems that the key that they would provide to you is unique to your machine, so there wouldn't be the worry about a white-hat being able to crack it

The new hotmail isn't that bad at all, I prefer the new interface and still prefer it to Google's efforts.
Although if Google did open up googlemail.co.uk I may tempted to swap if I could grab a decent address
Of course there is a technical solution to the problem, I don't believe I stated that there wasn't. I was merely pointing out that forcing registration and monitoring concurrent connections would need to take in to account the numbers of people in the household.
This would then cause issues with students away from home, as if they already have the code to access the content they are unlikely to sign up for a new licence whilst at uni

6 music is a great station, playing a brilliant selection of music with DJs that know about music.
I understand that the recent poll shows that 80% of the population doesn't even know it exists, but surely that is due to poor marketing and the fact it is only available online and via DAB.
The BBC does make mistakes, does over step the mark with commercial rivals and I think it does need to be closely monitored.
However 6music and the BBC website are examples of how great the BBC can be
