What !!!! A galaxy has been crashing through our own for years and no-one told us......
Its actually about 110 MILLION light years away
Oh and our star is way to small to go supernova, it would need to be about 8 times more mass than it is.

Send a file from one phone to another with wireless......
Wow I never though anyone would get that one sorted.....
Oh sorry they have.....
OK my fridge will be able to tell me I'm out of milk, but I just threw away the carton and noticed, and I noticed the butter was almost empty when I put it back in the fridge......
Um.... lights, curtains etc to set moods by clapping my hands........ done
Got it, I can drive my car from the back seat using my phone...... Yeh baby a real use, I can drive and be the back seat driver at the same time.... Brill, I can also start it and defrost it in the winter with the same phone...WOW, just make sure your kids don't grab your phone off you....
Boy are you wrong.
The value of the library of content the BBC has is worth billions, add to that the hundreds of millions that BBC worldwide make each year even with the restrictions on it.
If the BBC had a free hand to do what it wanted then it would be one of the biggest companies in the world on the basis of value and you could kiss goodbye to ITV, channel 4 and five.....
Apple would love to buy it and would offer 10's if not hundreds of billions to get it.
“The goal for first party hardware is to create categories and markets, but we want to stimulate the entire ecosystem,” he said.
So by create they mean build a tablet several years too late.....
Buy a phone company that can only sale phones by cutting the price
Have a group of OS's rather than one, and 2 for tablets FFS......
Top that off with the old comments re windows 8 UI and loss of start button etc and boy are they going about it wrong.....
To be honest I liked Windows phone as far as it went but it was just never far enough, so I waited and waited for the update from MS, I installed the developer edition and ........
WTF hardly anything has changed apart from a siri / google now wanabe that we all know will be like bing almost pointless outside the US of A..... and WOW I CAN HAVE MY OWN BACKGROUND ON HOME SCREEN WITH TRANSPARENT TILES..... gasp how ever did they come up with home screen setup ?
I have now sold my Nokia even though I loved the phone itself and bought an LG G2 instead, boy what a relief, back to the world of being able to set up a phone how I want.....
They should have the fine adjusted upwards allowing for inflation plus extra costs awarded against them to cover the costs of the EU since the fine was awarded.
If not then these companies will always just hold on as long as possible even if they accept guilt internally just to cut the real cost of the fine over time.
I have to respond before I see what I have to respond to ?
So I send a pic, open the one received, and then respond. I then get a pic for them to open the first one I replied with and a second for the second proper responce......
I can imagine that within a few exchanges I will need to send dozens of replies to open all the pics I received just to find the one I want to open.......
What idiot thought this one up ? ? ?
I am located in the UK and use chrome with Hola extension and a three mobile with H+ connection to stream Netflix, I can get HD quality from the USA version any time of the day without buffering.
That being the case then I would say that maybe Netflix is correct that Verizon is the problem.
I wonder if using a vpn or proxy service would be quicker for them.........
The article reads as if the iCloud Drive is non Android, if so its a failure for anyone with an android phone or tablet and a mistake by Apple.
As to bing ? its ok if your in the USA but not so good in the rest of the world, its not as easy as google to use (try looking for shopping results).
So Apple have shot themselves in both feet (again) and restricted their users from choice once again. Walled garden ? More like a max security prison to me.
Oh dear, I'm shaking my head....
1 is a joke
2 Bluetooth will eat the "Small" battery this thing will be able to hold in a very short time if its more than an interface for your ithingy.
3 I can't see any use for one unless it is a fully functioning device after all by the time I look at it I couldhave looked at my phone or whatever.
A new set of earphones with an extra long lead to go up your sleeve, across your body and up to your ear.
These will also have a patented Apple sytem called an iRubberband to secure it to your arm to prevent dangly bits that could catch on non iThings.
The cable will also be stretchy to accomodate arm movement and bending. Cost of earphones will be 50% of the cast of the iWatch, ie £300 for the iWatch and £150 for the earphones.
The moment I saw the word Facebook my radar went on full alert and my bias engine kicked in....
And what a shock I was once again correct in my fear that this looks like something else where you could ned up with all your choices being posted on their ad network....
Once again I am blessed that I don't use them and never want to.
OK so its a Moto X not a Nokia. I do however have a Nokia 920 and a Blackberry Z10 as I can't make my mind up which I want to have as main device and which as backup, I swap round evry week or so and enjoy the differnece, then have to swap again as I am bored with it.
Now if we could combine the best from each into a single OS then it would rule the world.
Oh and no I don't like iOS, its too old hat, too small on screen size and too walled garden for me.
How can they patent something that doesn't exist ?
OK if they have a working model then fine they deserve a patent but this is a patent for something that might exist in the future.
On this basis I should be able to patent anything I can dream up without a real proof of possible manufacture.
@ websey
Agree 100%
I installed it to try out creating anapp to see how hard it would be and I only did it as its my backup phone and not my daily use one.
OK so a Nokia 920 is a bit OTT for backup but I couldn't resist the price at Tescos a while back.
Anyone instally this is a stupid as someone doing so with an untested android ROM etc, you should at least have the brains to wait a week or so for problemsto appear, oh and the can't go back to version 8.0 message has also been a blind spot for some as I see posts asking how to return to it......
Oh and my phone seems sooth as silk and problem free so I guess I'mlucky with it.
They want to import them and cut them up to make the iWatch.
Its just their way of fooling the tech press etc.
Oh and if I was to spend the sort of money one of these would cost I would rather get a top of the line 3D projector and a recliner seat for comfort. The real price would be high enough without the "Apple" tax added.
It was a reply to another post where Lost all faith... posted the below
Re: It really is sad......
yes, they will create a ultra secure version with no way of getting info back to Google, then they will download Facebook and twitter from the Play store.
No Joke Icon, well, just because.
Several people posting here without bothering to think at all.
Believe it or not but you can make your own version of Android that doesn't report to Google.
Some people even buy a Chinese tablet and then do their best to get it to talk to google store etc.
Amazon also I believe sale tablets that have a modified Android OS that doesn't report to Google......
How hard would it be for the Russian government to write a version for use on government systems only.....
"He claimed the agency only slurped the communications of targeted individuals, and said that the vast majority of people who weren't on the target list had nothing to fear from his spies."
This if you look at it from his point of view is a licence to spy on everyone.
Just imagine that the target list is everyone with an internet connection then he is telling the truth, the vast majority of those without access have nothing to fear as they will have at best dumb mobiles that can only text or call.....

On March 13, 1989 the entire province of Quebec, Canada suffered an electrical power blackout. Hundreds of blackouts occur in some part of North America every year. The Quebec Blackout was different, because this one was caused by a solar storm!
Come on, FB are going to pay 19 billion for a company that will take decades on current earnings to pay it back let alone make a profit.......
Not in a million years, there must be something that they want or they wouldn't be buying, and that has to be data and the ability to obtain more data.....
tried iPhone a couple of years ago, didn't like it as it was just too small for me (Big thumbs and bad eyes.)
Switched to Android and was happy for a couple of years but decided to try something different so got a Nokia 520, loved most things about it except the battery and lack of a few apps.
Have now got a 920 and its great , I needed a backup phone anyway so I thought I would try BB10, bought the Z10 and I love it, everything I want to run just does fast and easy.
So for everyday txt / email and phone I use the BB, for browser etc I use the 920. Its horses for cources and if you are into lots of txt and social media etc BB10 just works so well.
And this is why Blackberry are getting such negative press.
Idiots posting as facts total rubbish. If you had half a brain you would check what you are going to post and find that the "Android" apps are "sandboxed" and so are no problem to run unless you enter data directly.
And don't forget that BB10 also seperates work from peronal so Android can be restricted to the personal side only leaving a safe phone for work purposes.
Now go away and read data to correct your "opinion" so you can start to post facts instead.
Get the tunein radio app on any mobile OS and you have 100,000 stations available for free.
Pay a couple of quid and you can record etc as well
Another case of a company giving you something you don't need.
Anyway haven't Nokia & Apple been doing this for ages as well....
Its dickhead comments like yours that show you have no idea what you are talking about.
Sea level rise is down to 2 things, as stated the ice from land melting and temperature rises.
Yes thats right, water like almost everything else expands as it gets warmer.......
Now go stick your head back in its hole and leave the discussion to those with some brains.
Usual crap no brain used post from an AC
Chen is all about enterprise saving BB and BBM along with BES is a massive part of it.
Oh and the anti Zuck brigade will grow and want the best non Facebook Whatsapp alternative which is BBM......
As to an SMS killer, only if everyone in the world has it would it work, unlike SMS where I only need the phone number. Add to that the choice of a secure system (BB) or an open one (all the others) I know where I want to be.
The polution over China is blotting out the sun, therefore temperatures must be lower and therfore it explains the lack of a raise in te global temperature you keep on about.
So the answer is to get a few more countries to grow their economy and not care about burning fossil fuels like crazy and we can head for a nice period of glaciers marking across the land......
If you are going to answer at least get it right.
Google Play is available via the snap app. It does updates and allows downloads from the play store of most apps that you have already purchased. The main things that don't work are those that need google pay services so no signing to maps but it still works, plus seperate licence like on beyondpod don't work.
You really need to go to crackberry and get version 2 of snap.....
about BB10 etc then go to crackberry and have a read then post a couple of question.
the members there are fans of BB so know a hell of a lot but are also honest and not afraid to point out problems.
to be honest I would have a BB over an android or apple phone for business any day. Android app loading is easy and most of them work perfectly on the BB10 OS,only intergration with google account on a few are a problem, oh and any app you bought already can if it works be loaded onto the BB at no cost.
