Re: "few Greek or Spanish or Italian unemployed"
Doesn't happen in the UK. Generally useless ex-finance ministers are forced to take menial clerical jobs in a declining industry

To implement a more business focused strategy they need to add some more differentiation, skype-for-business-but-using-it-from-home, skye-at-work-but-not-for-business, skype-for-idiots, skype-for-discussing-problems-with-skype
All these will have to be registered to a single Office365 account but you can't have two different ones installed on the same machine at the same time. Obviously they can't call contacts on one of the others.
Logins will prompt you if this is a microsoft personal or work email address, which one you have to click will vary on a daily basis. Any support requests will require you to have either a hotmail or outlook.com address or both, or neither.
> but one has to file a lawsuit and hope the bench warming shyster actually pays attention.
That's the difficulty with computer stuff
.
A typical East Texas jury is going to understand that the company you install drywall for during the day doesn't have any claim on your carved wooden sculpture at the weekend.
But are they going to understand that your DB programming day job and weekend app writing are different? Especially when your employer has a fancy lawyer confusing them about software
> I put the document in the round filing cabinet under my desk and no-one ever mentioned it again.
Generally in the UK, staying there and collecting a paycheque is a sign that you have accepted the employment contract, you have to be given a copy but you don't have to sign it
Patents are odd in that they can only be filed by inventors, not corporations. It is hardly unreasonable for the company that employed and funded the R&D to get the patent so you generally have to assign it. For some reason the assignment always includes a payment of $1 but you never seem to get it.
There is a Feynman story on him demanding payment when assigning some atomic bomb patents to the govt
I had a similar clause for a certain consulatancy named after a certain oxbridge town. ie
We own everything you make outside work.
Good, I take octogenarian fetish-porn photographs on the weekends, do you have a copy of the corporate logo for me to put on them ?
They also claimed that my non-compete extended to any customers of their customers. As HR put it, we did work for Tesco, Tesco sell Sony TVs = you can't work for Sony. I would have loved to see how that stood up in court.
But this won't affect that, they said they are hiring 1500 "engineers" not installers or maintenance technicians.
I assume the 1500 engineers will be developing new research concepts into solid products or developing new applications to better serve customers
But this is IBM so anybody good got out years ago.
Now the only ones left are the ones who don't know how to logon to their email to receive the redundancy notices.
And potentially a few that were made redundant years ago but ares til being paid because HR are also "IBM quality" staff
Not always possible.
1, You are teaching the robot a new sequence of moves so the power needs to be on
2, You are calibrating the touch points so you need to drive the robot to those points
3, You are changing the working head and so need to be able to move the arm
In this case it seems that it wasn't the robot they were working on but one in the next station that was triggered to move an assembly.
>if one of your defendants has deep pockets you can go after them for 100% of the compensation even if they are only 1% liable, t
There was a case where a kid was hit by a car and they sued the makers of the jeans he was wearing because the driver of the car had no money. When you are on the hook for the kids medical bills it is the only way
Surely this is a free market differentiation, if you aren't happy with your 911 service you can simply switch suppliers to one that offers a better service.
Since it may be inconvenient to do this whilst having a heart attack you should probably install some sort of app in advance to enable a quick-switch
Depending on how badly the test is designed/requriement is worded.
Spikes means the pedestrian would accelerate to the vehicle speed and stay there - rather than be accelerated and then bounced off so feeling double the overall force.
If you ignored the whole pierced by a spike bit - you could reduce the amount of impact felt by a pedestrian by fitting spikes
> Probably the same in Oz, they would buy them if they could get them
I think in the case of Oz, as soon as they weren't forced to buy commonwealth they were very happy to buy something cheaper and more reliable.
As the saying goes if you want to get into the outback take a Landrover - if you want to come back out again take a Landcruiser
