I can't think of any big container ships that use azipods. Single speed props + direct drive diesels are way more efficient if you only travel at one speed and never need to maneuver.

Cruise ships have azipods because they: reduce vibration, save internal space, are maneuverable to dock quickly in tight resort harbors and you need to generate metric fsck tons of electricity for all the shiny stuff on a cruise ship anyway.

Depends on the use - probably not for the independent long haul owner operator market.

But waiting at a Walmart distribution center while the load is assigned you charge with their bulk rate power, then you recharge at the store while you are being unloaded.

The truck is never off the road for servicing - the maintenance schedule on a big diesel isn't cheap.

In the aircraft world your website would take 20years and $10Bn to design an dimplment.

Any changes would take years and $M, you would have to use aircraft grade servers with aircraft grade cables, you could only use web languages that had been approved by the FAA.
