My Kindle-3 has sound and can turn a book into a badly-read audio book. There was a radio program recently that pointed out the latest Kindle has no sound, and blind people who were just getting used to being able to buy ebooks like the rest of us, were therefore stuffed. How does the kobo fit? is it a possible alternative for them?
Academics might be the only way to get opinions from people who don't have vested interests. As long as there's no pressuring for certain outcomes, as the last government have been known to do with the drug assessment committees for example.
Maybe they could look at the software patent fiasco then...
I've seen no evidence that the reason Windows is now dominant on netbooks is due to anything but MS abusing its monopoly position by leaning on manufacturers. If there was no pressure, then logically the manufacturers that have had some experience with Linux would be able to offer a choice of OS throughout their ranges. And any manufacturer could at least offer bare-metal machines.
I don't trust MS because their interests aren't mine. And they lie about it.
There's a wheel at the base of the tail, two very long retractable wheels on the wings and a retractable nose-wheel. The 'dolly' looks to be access steps for the pilot, and probably some maintenance/monitoring stuff.
Looks good fun though. I'd love a go in it :)

My electric commuta-scooter sounds like a milk float when power's applied, but a goes a good bit faster.
I like the idea of ring-tones though :)
