Now YOU have a valid problem...one which others HAVE reported. I suspect this new build was primarily intended for new users, I personally did not switch from 9.64 until 10.01 came out. Then the move to 10.10 went smoothly. Everything in the forums indicated that upgrade installs were not reliable enough yet for 10.50

I'll check when I get back to my other machine. That certainly would be a bad feature to have broken, after all some folks think that's the ONLY way to set a wallpaper.

I've got it running in Windows 98! What's not to love? If there are *real* issues, please use the bug wizard AFTER confirming with a *clean* install. Anything less is purely criminal.

Case in point: Would an army stop using grenades "because they explode"? No, they'll issue them to everyone "because they explode", and trust the soldiers are smart enough to know this WON'T HAPPEN until you pull the pin.

Unite is like a very safe grenade that can't even explode in your hand. The biggest danger is if you serve a virus-tainted file to other people, which is not Opera's fault. Running chat? You can set a login password and kick abusive posters. Got a fridge? Delete unwanted comments. No problem at all.

Unite cannot work until you set it up, so there are no holes and no wasted cycles there.
