I fully support MSI with their intention of getting people to RTFM. It's a shame they didn't have the bottle to follow it through.

iPhone upgrades - a one-way control-freak street

The backup of the iPhone would have been made BEFORE the OS upgrade. i.e.

Backup current iPhone (OS v3)

Upgrade to v3.1.2

Restore backup of apps etc

Realise v3.1.2 blows goats

Flash back to v3

Restore original backup.

OK so you might have updates itunes at some point so cannot downgrade that so easily.....your fault for being a gullable sheep and buying an iphone in the first place.
