Autogyros?

Autogyros is where cheap, mass-market aviation is heading. Besides being inherently safe and easy to fly, they can do VSTOL or even VTOL. The fact that they don't have wings makes it much easier to take them on the road. The rotor on the Artur Trendak Zen (formerly Celier Xenon) assembles/disassembles in 20 minutes. Of course, would be nice if it just folded, which isn't far fetched.

Of course, the Zen can't directly drive its tiny wheels for moving on the highway, but if making a roadable aircaft or flying car, I'd surely go this route.

Bad article

What exactly was banned? Why was it banned?

Sounds like speech and politically-dangerous stuff was NOT banned. Foreign e-commerce (ie, importing) was banned. Why? Perhaps to keep more foreign reserves inside the country.

MinWin only solves post-XP problems

Windows Embedded is already everything that MinWin is supposed to be (like running in 40MB ram, _with_ GUI). However, Windows Embedded is still based on XP. MinWin is simply the attempts to undo the damage of the Vista development era (where software quality took a nosedive) and make feasible a Vista/7-based version of Embedded.

This is the angle the article missed.
