Needs price and warmup time

Since selling price varies wildly from the manufacturers', surely it would make sense to put an approx selling price next to the RRP in the article?

At my office, I can choose between a good Canon and a low-end HP. The latter is nearer, but if it's not warmed up, I've got time to make some coffee before the first page appears. I would think this is particularly important for a printer that's not in constant use. So, can you measure and report the typical time to first page from cold standby?

Judge: Top Gear did not libel Tesla

"The presenter said on air at the time that the e-car had run out of power after just 55 miles, well below Tesla's claimed 200-mile range."

No he didn't. Clarkson said:

"Although Tesla say it will do 200 miles we worked out that on our track it would run out after just 55 miles"

And by "we", he meant calculations made by the Tesla engineers, for driving under race conditions (as the Judge pointed out).

I dare say lots of people came away with the impression that the car ran out of battery power, which is fundamentally what this lawsuit is about, but on the evidence I've seen, Top Gear didn't misrepresent the facts -- unlike this Reg article, and many similar write-ups.

Not very useful

Surely no-one operates a mouse with their wrist off the desk, as shown in the videos on their website. Smells like a solution in search of a problem.

Works beautifully for me -- maintenance-free automatic backup to an external hard disk.

That said, my system drive is an SSD, and all the data is on a secondary hard disk, so I'm probably hitting the sweet spot.

Sennheiser RS 160 wireless headphones

Nice

I've had an RS120 set for a few years. Being a simple analogue system, there was always a little bit of hiss in the background, though the sound quality was generally much better than in-ear sets. The charging system worked very well, and I never had to change the supplied batteries.

Very tempted by these -- they sound well worth the money.
