Good news: Microsoft's Azure Data Box Disk is here. Bad news: UK South Storage is having a liedown

Oh, get me the tank!!! I am laughing so hard it is breaking my ribs. Trust Micro$hit to make a mess, sweep it under the carpet and then try to sell you the broom! our fantasy Football site, I mean the one my mates and I play on, is screwed at the moment. 18 hours after it went down nothing whatsoever has changed. I advised my mates in the league to open a fine bottle of French Red, sit back in a comfortable chair, relax and laugh as this one gets worse. there's nothing we can do about it except pray to Bacchus that our season isn't over.

OOo's put the willies up Microsoft

Microsoft Office is definitely not for us

At HumanRightsTV we changed to Open Office years ago now and have never had a problem. We installed Ubuntu as the OS a long time back and we have all but left Microsoft behind. Whenever I see colleagues or clients they are usually amazed at the abilities I can demonstrate in their office with my Ubuntu laptop.

Then I watch them try to handle Microsoft products generally and I weep with laughter as I watch their struggles; "And you paid for this did you?" I always ask. very often I get the question, "Why can't I do what you have just done on your laptop?" and the answer is always, "Because you pay for something that just is not that good."

So this is where you are hiding away?

Hotmail still not working? Use Chrome to fix it, says MS

jack 6

Why do people stick with it?

I just don't get why people stay with all this rubbish coding. The comment: "Home server, Vista, Win7 (I still have no usb2) and now hotmail" leaves me to ask two questions, 1, Don't you ever learn? 2. Does usb2 mean user servicable brain?

I simply can't understand the mentality of continually buying rubbish.

What are the odds of this happening?

"Some users are furious at Microsoft for rolling out a buggy product without fully testing it first."

Surely not!

Magpies hold funerals for fallen feathered friends

Burying a Good Story!

What a load of nonsense! Magpies are part of the Crow family, notorious carrion eaters. They were pecking the dead Magpie to see if it was tasty, having decided it was they brought some salad to their table. When they flew off they were all going to find a decent Cabinet Sauvignon. Once they had carried that back then the truth would have been revealed but the researcher had left by then to write about Magpie funerals. Magpie dinner parties more like!
