Mmm. This remmember "Telefonica-eMail & ADSL" marriage.
When you suscribe to TimofonicaADSL, they open you free email @telefonica.es accounts. (if not, they insist)
Once you try to switch ISP, you face loose your email accounts or keep paying one of the most expensive EU ADSL services.
This could be the same, once you switch to, three (for example), Will you loose Tu Go number? :-P

Will be nice to have a G+ Share icon next to Twitter.
That's all, I move from FB to G+ since FB gave me back nothing.

Xmpp and gTalk seems to be on the third place for google right now.
99% because is in direct conflict with Telcos and Android.
XMPP will not succeed until there will be a good Android XMPP-only client with voice&video support. When that was real, PSTN will be over.
And remember, Google made VP8 for free, help develop the best audio codec OPUS, and even they help a lot improve XMPP specs.
Even that, they dont allow you to download gTalk from the market.Seems to have halted developing it.
gTalk is the only Android XMPP client with Voice&Video, and do not support VP8, nor OPUS nor mutivideo call.
I agree, Skype also put so many active users that make me laugh. And i feel there are more gTalk users (some trapped in gmail) than skype clients.
For FB i feel the same, same as hotmail acclaim of millons of users (undeleted users remaining from pre-2000 era) :)))
Twitter had thousand accounts, but right now i have my doubts, and feel G+ winning clearly over Twitter, or near to.
Anyway, anyone who claim big numbers do not make him instantly big.

When I hear Ford i think in the first Compaq all-in-one desktop pc full of propietary components and connectors. You cant even change the powersupply. hehe (of couse, the CRT came in the same plastic, so was unchangable), anything that fail=drop the pc.

Smith: Look EU, we are dominat because Hotmail, m$, yahoo and many others have crappy unnatractive webpages full of bloatware. They let us win. We only did a good job, making many opensource contributions to the community when Apple,BB,M$,Yahoo make things in oposite directions. Look what happend to Yahoo messenger or hotsh_t-messenger? they dont use XMPP, so cant communicate with other IM services. They loose.
His webmail clients was in html1.0, reloading long static pages, and what happend next? Google&FF&W3C team improve the web and make better solutions for webApps which by M$ never was agree, because WebApp is enemy of an OS like MS, or crappy bad ¬efficient programed apps in Win.
By all of this and much more, Google win, and EU, instead, should help. And if they dont like it, Ok, drop all androids and pay for iphone, useless S40, Ancient-S60 or verycapped-mobileoperator-friendly-Blackberrys.
1) Go out of the airport,
2) Buy a new SIM card with 50MB Internet
3) Log into your XMPP account
4) Make IM, VoIP and Video Calls (3G)
5) Stop using phone numbers (pstn) and everything gonna change.
6) Stop punish roaming charges. Look at the mirror and punish yourself for be useless using an old way of communication.
7) Think again why Telcos promotion skype,Whatshits and other closed IM,VoIP services. (Divide & Conquer)

My n95 (2007) can make videocall over internet over XMPP over wifi/3g
Your iSh1t 3GS (2009) not only miss 50cent frontcam, It also had NO MULTITASKING, and even worst, no copyandpaste!!!
How they cheated so many innocents buyers ???
Now, ask why corpocryme telecos are forcing Android manufactures to remove the frontcam ! :)))
