It's you who doesn't know what they are talking about; the most common SLA battery used for burglar/fire alarms is 7Ah. So you're looking at several days before the battery is exhausted, and usually they'll signal in some way that the battery is running low.
Wait! Are you suggesting the easiest way to deter thieves is simply to put things up high where they can't reach them?
You'll also have to put stepladders and chairs and such high up where they're out of reach. And sturdy boxes. Crates. And cupboards that might be moved. Which you'll then need a stepladder for to get things in or out of. And as the stepladder is stored out of reach you'll have to get a new one (from Amazon?) which you afterwards need to store out of reach again. I see this being a recursive problem without an, eh, bottoming-out condition, and you'll sooner or later reach the Stepladder Event Horizon.

If this really takes off I can see solar roof panels being retrofitted to trailers, or panel modules that can be attached on top of a shipping container in case the trailer is towed by an electric truck. A pretty good vegetarian substitute for fried bacon cubes: dice a block of smoked tofu, put them in a hot skillet with a bit of oil, then after they're about halfway fried, add vegetable stock (quantity needs to be experimented with a bit, depending on the desired result). If your PC has a passthrough socket for the monitor, there's additional earth leakage current for the system, but no change in the limit.
That RCD is somewhere in the central fuse box, monitoring the entire circuit that it's wired into. So unless you have your monitor and PC on separate circuits, having the monitor on a pass-through socket from the PC, or just plugged into adjacent sockets (or an extension strip) will make sod-all difference.

Not as small regarding storage, but I have a 2k SRAM chip that's got two recesses for coin cells (CR1220 IIRC) in the casing.

You're ignoring two rather influential factors: swing districts, and the electoral college.
With proportional representation, those 6 million roubles would have gone nowhere indeed.

As far as I'm concerned, online ads (whether delivered from one's own servers or from an ad farm's) should be subject to the same rules as print ads instead of generic user-created content (which is what they appear to be saying here), and even high school newspapers vet the ads they want to place.
But ads are what brings in the money for FB/Twitter/Google, so they're not going to be looking at them beyond the bare minimum required by advertising standards.

As well as the laws[1] of the countries you (wish to) operate in. If those result in mutually exclusive restrictions on operating conditions, then you stay out of that country.

Given the aerodynamics necessary, trying it "in reverse" would probably be entertaining but not productive.
In the late 1970's there was a Dutch TV programme with the 'racing in reverse' theme. Given the abundance of cheap, to-be-scrapped, Daf cars[0] back then, there was ample fodder for those races. Some of them are on YouTube ("achteruitrij race"), so you can judge the 'entertaining' bit for yourself.

This calls for a SmartBinTM (Internet of Trash?), able to sense non-trash being deposited and, depending on the feature level, just refuses to be emptied into the garbage truck (Bronze), rolls back into the yard away from the Designated Bin Pickup Spot (Silver), or, at the Gold Level, moves into the yard, signals a robot arm to extract the package, then moves back to allow the remaining contents to be collected by the council.
