I saw the latest Star Trek yesterday, another J.J "thing".
Weak just doesn't cut it. Terrible. I don't hold much hope for Star Wars.

They're as bad as anywhere else. Great before you buy, utterly shite after, especially the RMA service. What's more annoying is how they suddenly become "uncommunicative" when you ask them to explain why a simple RMA has been FUBAR.
Scan ain't any better than anywhere else. Judging from their own users posts on their section on Hexus.net, they're quite a bit worse than alot of other places. RMA is particularly weak.
Prices are decent though, they're cheaper than OC.uk on most items.
.... and returned it. The picture quality was noticably sub-par.
I connected a PC via HDMI and had a test pattern and a few colour gradients, it couldn't reproduce them to anything like an acceptable level. As the colour gradient approached black, it actually went up then down to black, leaving a "band" across the screen.
This resulted in mpeg noise close to black being far far brighter than it should be. Titles on TV shows were noticably noisey around the edges.
Avoid this range of sets if you give a crap about the quality of the picture.
.. that with all this available bandwidth, Traffic Management wouldn't be required.
Unfortunately it seems that it is, so it's pretty clear that congestion will be much much worse at such high speeds, unless ofcourse, everything VM have been saying with regard to congestion is complete BS?
Frankly, when Virgin is involved, you can't trust a word they say.
It's 20 quid more than the Pioneer BD-ROM I bought 2 years ago, and offers no more functionality.
These drives should be under £40 by now.
PowerDVD 8 doesn't support bitstream audio passthrough, effectively crippling the audio.
For 80+ quid I expect *alot* more than this package offers.
You need a "FAIL" stamp over his face in your picture.
Frankly, every word out of his mouth is either a lie or some waffle to cover is total and utter failure in office. Every department he's managed is unfit for purpose.
I can't even stand to look at the man, he's what's wrong with this country personified. An unprincipled liar.
