Get with the times
It's disgusting that so many people are out to scam others, I agree, but the other side of this story is an out-of-date phone system that facilitates the scam.
When I receive a call on my mobile phone, I can terminate the call by pressing the red button to disconnect. Why is it that our wired phone system still prevents the recipient from properly terminating a call, especially if it is an unwanted or menacing call?
