hissy fit central
I dont get the hissy fits. I welcome anything that makes firefox work better with websites that only seem to work properly in IE, due to retarded web devs.
And, as Mike B correctly points out, MS arent the only ones to do it!

Why is my VM service not as shit as everyone is saying?
20meg - 100% uptime and full speed 99% of the time. Only time I see slowness normally is when I'm downloading stuff from slow servers (Asus support website for example!)
I dont give a rats arse about Phorm as long as it doesn't affect my speed, or delve into my porn browsing habits.
Paris, cos she's on my search criteria from time to time.
> Does this make all followers of any religion a jerk and an asshole?
The right to free speech is forfeit when whatever you're talking about is clearly a blatant lie with no evidence, factual or otherwise, to back it up, and masses of evidence/solid proof to the contrary.
Well, it is in my opinion anyway!!
I paid 25 quid to watch the Amir Khan boxing match - you'd expect it to have NO adverts... no, they crammed adverts in at every opportunity! Cheeky wankers!
I would rather pay £140p/a then have to sit through 15 minutes of adverts in a 45 minute show. I fucking hate adverts that much.
Fuck me was the screeching loud - I had to block my ears. Can only imagine what it was like for people on the platform.
It's because Bank has a curved platform and the trains dont like going anywhere but straight. So they have to use guide rails, which need lubrication.
How are the plod going to enforce this if it passes? Pull over every driver with a hands-free kit regardless whether or not they were on a call!?
IMO this is just another nanny state idea set to piss off more people than save lives.
Banning the use of mobile phones without hands-free kits is sensible. This is plain stupid.
I get XL TV, XL broadband (20meg > 50meg) and a phone with free calls for £60 a month.
That's a fair price if you ask me!
Anyway at least this gives me another 4 years before I may have to go ISP hunting again. I've used NTL since they first launched cable BB and haven't looked back. Been mega quick and reliable.
Ok, there has been a lot of incredibly high profile data loss stories going on in recent months, but this is surely taking far too drastic action. To dismiss the manager for having his laptop stolen is outrageous... It's not like he asked the theives to come and steal it while he was away.
As has been said, data security shouldn't be managed by the individuals, it should be managed by the business IT dept. What were patients records doing on his laptop anyway? Shouldn't that all be stored in a secure central database somewhere, which the employees access using a VPN of some description, like everyone else in the real world does?
Ahh the truth comes to light. All those incompetent procurement officers working for the government, wasting money.
Does my nut in, specially when I work for a specialist procurement services provider. We could probably halve the governments military spending given the time of day.
Seriously, what a waste of time. They have a direct link one click from the homepage and you can search for it anyway.
If users were so worried about their privacy, then the Internet wouldn't exist in the state it is.
Besides, an IP address is NOT a private piece of information, so these kids are barking up the wrong tree anyway. Your IP is owned by the ISP.
A lot of you seem to miss the point that this is intended as a backup system, which by all means is a bloody brilliant idea!
It could be the difference between a damaged plane going down taking everyone with it, or a damaged plane still able to maintain some landing control thanks to the wireless backup.
Anyone who's been to a PC World store in the past 6 years could have forseen this! The only people who shop there are OAP's and chavs, neither of whom have any idea about computers.
For a store that charges £10 for a kettle lead, I can have no sympathy.
Paris, as I'm sure she'd like a rich OAP to mooch off (and she's very chav-like).
