Soooo...
If I buy all the roads connecting a rather well known military complex housing - um - strategic deterrents, do I get to use said assets to decrease the value of other players property?
How much is the rent on a LGM30 site?

Last time I checked, the AMS (2x00) were capable of thin provisioning, dynamic migration, *proper* active/active load balancing, large cache, iSCSI capability and came with a very decent SPC perfomance at an attractive price.
Concerning the USP: You get what you pay for. Its an enterprise class array. Neither the DMX4 nor the DS8k come cheaper.
So SUN^H^H^HORACLE says 320 cores at 1,6GHz are faster than 64 at 5GHz?
Now who would have expected that?
And speaking of expectations:
I expect it will be only seconds before IBM pulls the magic "TCO" card, with 320 cores to license and ten boxes to put into maintenance, you´re in for several years of butt-pain. Even compared to the expensive (but good) IBM GS.
Though I understand the low drag design of a sportscar benefity electric cars, I still need a station wagon. Ideally with a hitch.
And triple ISOFIX. ;)
500km range is already fine with me, should geve ~350 on a quick charge. Would make me move my lazy ass (as recommended) if the refilling takes 20 minutes, so I can live with that one.
But were getting close.
Paris, because of ... cloase (Oh my, this was a cheap one...)
Why anyone would buy a single, expensive SSD instead of two (or four) smaller ones in a raid0 setup behind a *proper* Controller - something like the HP smartarray p410 with half a GB of write cache AND a PCIe 8x connection to actually transfer the data - is still beyond me. Maybe its the 500Eur pricetag on the controller, but you´ll have to shell out that money only once. And migrating to another board suddenly is a charm, too.
Just a thought, maybe I am completely wrong...
