Biggest problem with freeview/freeview HD is lack of decent content. It never really bothered me before, as I didn't really watch TV, but as the gf sticks any random rubbish on.. i thought it was worth shelling out for heavily discounted sky HD (know a member of staff and get a 1/2 price code!)
I was at the "Secret bunker" in Fife on Sunday. Very interesting place, fairly cold (temperature stays at a constant 65 deg F (18.33 deg C), the heating system underground costs about £200 an hour to run.
There's also another bunker in Edinburgh on Costorphine hill, unfort. this one was burnt out when a bunch of yobs backed a truck down the tunnel, loaded tyres into the place and set it alight.. the fire burned for 6 days!
With BMI is the inability to factor in muscle mass.
Muscle is 18% denser than fat, so if you are one of those, loves the gym everyday guy rippling with muscle and your Ideal (BMI) weight is 12 stone something, yet you weight 14 stone.. your still classed as Obese..
They should scrap BMI.. even as a rough scale.. bring out the calipers!
I Own the 42LH5000... needless to say avoid it, go for the 42LH3000, as it's a superior model (yes I know, older model, better than the newer one). Plus Currys have an exclusivity on the 42LH5000 and their returns/repair/"tech guys" service is terrible... (TV has been away for "repair" for 8 days and counting... 3 weeks to go and I claim a new one).
