Toshiba launches thick Thrive tablet in Europe

...err

I opted for the Acer A500 and I'm chuffed. The reasons: Full size USB 2.0 with host support - gimme your stick and I can have your files right now - HDMI out (micro), thickness - I find handling the Samsung Galaxy Tab or the iPad too thin and uncomfortable to hold for my shovels whereas the Acer and the Asus felt just right. They may have been ok if I had dainty little appendages. I had considered waiting for the tosh but my lack of patience got the better of me. Finally I paid £309 new for the 32GB WiFi only and I'm delighted with it.

FAIL

Let those without sin...etc etc

Let's not forget Creative Labs succssfully sued for patent infringement for the iPod user interface which Apple quite happily stole and made many millions $ from. Apple probably wouldn't be where they are now if it wasn't for that blatant patent theft.

Personaly I'm finding it hard to see the need for another gadget like this...except it's shiny...ooooh. It's not going to give me anymore functionality than my current laptop, netbook, ipod and android phone...ah well

Pure Hero Magic

Well I've had my HTC Magic for 6 weeks and love it. My previous was a Nokia N95 8Gb which, I did like but this is so much better. The android based phones are going to grow in popularity and functionality. This included a hardware based compass. I don't understand why these devices are continuosly compared with the iPhone!!

The Hero is another good step in the evolution of Android
