Re: Stupid comparison

"Shouldn't that be 10 mountain bikes?"

Of course it would have to be 10 mountain bikes stacked on top of one another, so as not to increase the footprint in contact with you :)

Paris, because I bet she's had 10 stacked up on her

It depends...

Has the customer tried to get a refund and cancel the contract? If a product is faulty, or has been sold under false pretenses then the users should be able to return them for a full refund (or exchange if it's just that particular product at fault).

If that basic right has been denied, then I fully support legal action... otherwise it's just a bid to grab fame/money.

Real names?

Since when have celebs used real names? Am I wrong in thinking most of their stage names are actually very different. Will Chaka Khan be forced to use her real name Yvette Marie Stevens? (no idea why I chose Chaka Khan as an example, so don't ask).

I share my name with a cartoon character... I wonder how long it'll be before my account is taken from me to make way for some fictional character to have their own account!

As with most things in the auto-industry, the camera mirrors would be an expensive optional extra.

Prices from £35,999 (model shown Ultra-GTi-Exec-Plus model, from £139,999)

(and no, my pricing isn't based on any facts, just a random example plucked out of thin, frosty, cold air)

Intimidation?

I'm not sure how a blind person driving around outside my house would intimidate me... I'd find it rather comical as I throw wheely bins in his path.

Anyway, if he's blind, how did he find his way to the house anyway? Or did he hack his satnav to be extermely accurate?

cash and fame

Just a quick grab to grab some headlines and free visitors if you ask me. There's maybe 2 or 3 items that "could" be deemed as similar when you take out standard sections such as prividing a start date, end date, destination etc.

Grey imports

I don't see the problem with Grey imports... actually, can you still get "grey" imports from the EU now that it's supposed to be an open market?

I can understand prices being higher in the UK due to tax, retail space being more expensive, workers and transport costing more etc, but if it can be legally imported from abroad for cheaper, then we should be free to do that. Obviously we end up losing things like warranties and trying to return an item bought off eBay is either impossible or at least a lot more difficult than if you bought it from a UK retailer.

So, leave us alone, we should have the right to buy our imported goods for a lower price if we're willing to live with the downsides of lower cover on warranties and returns.

Shock horror

I was brought up on Disney films. Next you'll be telling me that Princesses don't sit in castles all day wearing pink dresses and a crown (although a small one, not as large as the King or Queens crown) waiting for someone like myself to come along and rescue her from her mundane life?

Or will you tell me that mythical beasts don't actually roam our local forest?

Or what about magicians... they exist in real life don't they?

Or are we going to have to cope with the fact that fantasy fairy stories don't and shouldn't reflect real life!
