Taking your multi £Billion Nuclear sub right up underneath the Russians newest Carrier (The Kiev), tracking it and photographing its features. Then slipping away unnoticed with all the ships sonic signatures in the bag.
Done by the Royal Navy in the Cold War (The Kiev was sold to China in the 1990's and is now a luxury hotel) but the above episode was beautifully described in one of the episodes of the BBC-2 Cold War series. The Captain of that sub really had some balls to do that. He
