Hmmmm
Still not Opera is it...
Not today, likely never, thanks.

Bring it back quietly I say & make the 808 available easily in the UK. Better that than sullying Nokia hardware with Android in my eyes. Or an N8 eqivalent with Pureview, that would sell too.
Its clear why Elop did what he did, cant help thinking though that even if the Symbian devs were still fired there was enough life left in Belle for another flagship device or two .
Maybe then when WP is actually up to speed with the competition, people can see a clear & simple upgrade(?) to the latest WP device, that does just what the S^3 devices can do right now and have been doing for the last 2 years!
Delightful! Like people didnt see this coming from the off..!?
Just as Flickr have started pulling the stick out of their proverbial too. That said, Flickr could do without a megadump of hipster chintz (seems from what Ive seen to be the alt repository of choice), there are enough eyebleeding HDR images already as it is.
Flickr had all this in the palm of its hand for years, heres hoping for a resurgence.
As the studios wont let them have it, hardly surprising given the 30% kerching machine that is itunes, why would a company want to make it that easy for a competitior to make money...?
It wont be anything other than a giant wall mounted ipad, with stupid connectors, friction stir welded into permanent never to replaced place.
No thank you.
I stream audio at 192k for a majority of the day - guaranteed glitches at least 3/4 times an hour on a 20meg connection.
Wondering if it might have anything to do with them prioritising thier own streaming services?
Either way VM, you shout about having the best network....
Make it so!
Though the print copy doesn't really identify as coming from apple enough in my eyes, needs the logo for maximum efficacy.
I wonder who rode roughshod over the presumably sensible advice, re not posting the arcing pacifier that was the first 'we were talking out of our ass' clarification?
Not that I'm complaining, but I am wondering if their seemingly bullet proof shoes are getting a bit threadbare by now.
Bonkers.
These are not computers, they are things. A lamp as an example.
Do you need extreme thinness from a desktop device? at the cost of losing functionality? Big fat no on both. More functionality in the same size box as before please.
Can't even rip a CD on a machine over 2 feet across.... that's some 'design' right there.
Same stuff with different measurements, same bland OS.
The side bezel looks a bit thin too but then apple know ergonomics right?
The competition are already way ahead with unique designs to really start drilling home the benefits of a well resourced R&D dept. Will the fanbois notice? Doubt it...
A flat near featureless slab is not my idea of good tech.
Finally, I sincerely hope 'education' via ipad poking is a very small fad, what a sorry state of profiteering... apple essentially stealing kids dinner money to aid their quest for cash. Sick.
Offline maps are definitely staying & I expect shouted about quite loudly when WP8 gets launched.
The comment is there as a slight dig at the the most amazing phone manufacturer in the world (shyeah right), who can't find their arse from their elbow currently.
Nokia have the best mobile mapping solution by miles, kilometers, linguine or any other measure you feel appropriate.
What of them, its all apples fault anyway...
If they didnt continually shout so cringingly loud about their "revolutionary" 'fast' 'thinner' 'fast' 'amazing' 'revolutionary' 'fast' idevice, then they wouldn't be getting this from the media. Although, the apologists are now even more visible than before so thats no bad thing I guess.
Any company releasing something so laughably shit deserves a peg drop or 10, it just feels better when its apple.....
I see very little mention of Nokia / MS here...
I'll resist the temptation to mention Symbian to heavily, with my main point being.. Lumia with Nokia maps blows even dedicated sat nav devices out of the water.
WP8 launch should start with a video...
A car with a Lumia on the dash directing the car to the venue, shift time a bit to get in all road types, nice places on the way, all shot of course with a Lumia... I dunno maybe show someone riding bike in, walking too yes, don't forget public transport either.
I thought the icloud would be apples Achilles heel but hey, they couldnt have chosen worse fail considering the new competitions massive strength in the exact field.
And they'll be made by Nokia and therefore drop tested.
Who'd a thought it...
This is the real popcorn moment.
This also means that trip data from phone owners (knowing or not) will be used to improve the mapping?
IOS Spy in your pocket - no thanks.
http://maps.nokia.com or of course, any Nokia phone with this already baked in.
Fanbois do yourself a favour, get yourself a ladder & get out of the walled garden, the Blight problem is serious this time. If you stay you'll be lost forever.
My experience of Nokia maps / navigation on the N8 has been great. Certainly pans the TomTom.
Offline maps for a start (worldwide pretty much if you want to DL), fast routing, free traffic info, tons of useful POI, lane guidance etcetc. 20k miles use so far and its only got lost once in an industrial estate.
Flickr also uses NokNav now for far finer positioning than the previous pos thankfully.
The best digital maps I've used.
You can do more with the N8 than any current Droid/fruit based device.
Nothing comes close on the call handling, the camera, the hard baked GPS, USB on the go, FM transmitter etc etc...
The Lumia 920 is getting there but I think the next upgrade again will be the one to best it.
