Only £120? Sounds like you got a bargain.
When we had a problem, we were told there would be no charge. It was fixed, and then 3 months later we were billed for £220.
3 separate complaint letters and 3 separate responses all ignored the 1 question I asked "Why was I told there would be no charge" and proceeded to tell my why I was charged.

I congratulate you on having visited every shop in the world. I can only assume that they had put up the displays that I have seen after you had visited the stores. Perhaps you should phone ahead next time?
I remember similar comments about VHS vs DVD when DVD was released.
I have a 42 inch plasma, and the difference between HD and regular content is easily apparent (in the case of bluray vs dvd). The difference on TV programs is less noticeable however (They been filming TV in 720?). But the last Dr Who was clearly better quality in HD. I have yet to work out why they showed Shooting Stars in HD, unless they thought it would be a quick and easy way to fill HD content.
A quick comparison of Planet Earth on Blueray then DVD will easily show the difference in quality. I cannot comment on the quality of the original HD broadcast though, as I didn't have an HD box at the time.

No. you don't HAVE to do anything like that. You can CHOOSE to take your child there, or you can play with it on your own time.
What kind of person takes their child to a facility, knowing the rules, then complains about them? Do you similarly park in disabled space at supermarkets despite not being disabled, demanding your right to use the facilities provided?
I have to wonder whether any of you people send your children to school. You know, that place where you do not supervise them from 8 am to 3:30pm, and where they run around in the playground for 90 minutes a day when not in lessons with sharp crayons and scissors and the school gerbil.

She is absolutely correct. Schools should be burnt to the ground immediately. Any after-school activity or social group such as cubs, brownies, guides, and scouts, should be destroyed. Nasa should nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
Wait wait wait. Greenpeace are still on the internet? They still use computers? Why? Everyone knows how massive the carbon footprint is for computers. Greenpeace are therefore killing the planet. Even if they use the most CO2 friendly computers, it is no different to slowly poisoning the foster parents of a blind orphan.
Shame on you Greenpeace, why would you do that? Why don't you go out and pay some more whalers to slaughter some more innocent whales so you can film them again.

I have it on good authority that the Native-USAicans have a number of casinos, and the Italian-USAican community has a number of legitimate family businesses.

I thought the "Scientific consensus" was:
1) Cigarettes are harmless
2) Evolution is nonsense
3) The Earth was the centre of the universe
until a couple of brave people challenged that consensus, and were persecuted for it. People couldn't divorce their own desires from empirical evidence.
Presumably you still believe that the Earth is flat and that Man will never land on the moon?

Let's face it, the way things are going in this country at the moment, the ID card is going to be issued to every citizen, and we won't be able to cash our dole cheques without it. With unemployment so rampant (Hitting 43Million by 2010 thanks to asylum seekers an Nu Labour), the ID card is going to have a built in unemployment benefit payment system.
I hear a lot about local Royal Mail strikes, but to be honest, I've not noticed any difference in Royal Mail's performance in years. I still get mail addressed to people in different countries because the envelopes are stuck together. My neighbours still get my mail. Sometimes 3 or 4 days go by without any mail, and then suddenly it all arrives on a Friday. And this is all BEFORE the recent strikes. brightly coloured birthday cards still go amiss (I must learn to send them in plain envelopes to stop the thieving employees from taking them, despite the fact there is no money in the card).
Oh, union bosses, can you please teach your members to understand the phrase "Do Not Bend", it would be of great benefit, and might actually earn your members a little more support from the customers.

I think you misread the article. They claimed that jobcentreplus used the postcode api to find work close to the applicant, which has now been made useless. So your statement actually backs the api writers.

This is the guy that said he would give $10,000 to Paul Eibeler's favourite charity if people would make a game that conformed to his sick and twisted fantasy. Naturally, when 5 people immediately made 5 games, he refused to give the $10,000 to charity. What a douche bag. Luckily Penny Arcade made the donation instead for him. You know those penny arcade guys, who host a big children's charity thing each, while Thompson creates bigger and bigger lawsuits.
Putting the horrendous cost aside, doesn't anyone else think that a week is a long time to be stuck in a tiny capsule with 2 other cosmonauts' farts?
After you've lost your lunch for the 7th time, and completed your 19th zero-grav backflip, what else is there to do? Sure you can play with a water bubble for half an hour or so, but the whole "No gravity" novelty is going to wear out quicte quickly isn't it?
Having to attach a hoover to yourself just to use the toilet, for example. Not my idea of $30million of fun.

I have only a single game on my iPhone, and I can't play it because of the touch-screen. The screen doesn't really allow the sort of thumb movements needed (continuous thumb contact as if you are using a Nintendo DS directional pad). A lubricated screen is needed. (Unless some of you out there are using special stick-on smooth coatings?)
That isn't multitasking. It is the same task. I and everyone else in my company does that every day, it is nothing special. Answering one of those complaints via IM, and listening to talk radio, and watching YouTube, and doodling a picture of President Bush riding a kangaroo through congress is multitasking.
