Considering that 4.4 KitKat has the option to replace Dalvik with ART, by way of a test it stand to reason that by 4.5 or 5.0 ART will be default and all Blackberry's effort will seem rather pointless.

The things you say you can do with the iPad also work with Android tablets, it's just MUCH cheaper to buy a micro SD, and be able to UPGRADE your storage when you need to, without clumsy external dongles.

Turn up the text DPI then everything non-textual looks lovely and sharp - I'm guessing you're not big on graphic design, most people don't use command line on a laptop much ;-)

That's because no one uses any of that pointless crap anymore, you don't need bluetooth with a mount and speakerphone, you have many different ways of video calling, and most Android phones do have USB mass storage.

So you took out all the screws and the back panel refused to move ? I would advise that like every other laptop in the world, remove the screws on the base then flip it over and remove the keyboard, the top will then come off and you can access the internals.

Yes, but the OEM cost of Windows could buy a higher res screen instead ;-)

It has been running on my EeePC perfectly fine, Android has had support for keyboard and mouse since 3.0.

With a few extra tweaks Windows could be running scared.

Microsoft have stopped sales of Windows 7, once Lenovo runs out of OEM copies you are stuck with 8.

You sound like you have never used Android if you think it is a "locked down apps machine".

All Android devices have been touch based ?

Any Android device whether tablet, netbook or phone will work with a usb/bluetooth keyboard and mouse, once a mouse is plugged in a cursor will appear on screen. Android has had this capability since 3.0, work really well too.

Okay so I'll explain this like you are a child since you really sound like one....

So cars are big and heavy and have lots of power so over time they break up the road surface, which costs lots of money to fix, people are not heavy enough to effect the road surface either on foot or on a bike, which is why it is idiotic to claim that cyclists and walker should pay road tax, even after those people have already paid tax for things like foot paths.

Silly people who claim these things are really stupid because they are just blaming other people instead of putting pressure on the government to spend the money they collect in road tax on the actual roads instead of on other stupid things like illegal wars, not to mention all the tax they collect on fuel.
