ICO probes NHS clinic's data blunder that exposed HIV+ status of 800 patients
It's probably a good idea not to go paperless.
When it runs out of memory it uninstalls your least used app but keeps the data on the phone. When you want to use the app again it re-installs it and runs it again.
Very good idea which will work until Google updates Play Store to do the same.
There was however also a mandatory update KB3022345 installed several times between April and June and was not mentioned in the article, presumably because it's superseded, but it is mentioned on ghacks. As it's superseded it's not offered to new machines but if you haven't uninstalled it it's still there. That needs to go too.
From the tone of your post I can see you haven't actually tried to rock up to an Apple store with a broken computer and see how long you have to wait...
If you don't want to throw away a morning or afternoon waiting for a Genius to tell you what you already know (it's broken) then you can always book online and wait days instead.
So how's the fingerprint stored? Because Android doesn't inspire confidence in this area (see recent security flap for one model which stored them in a world-readable file).
And what about false positives for HTC's generous fingerprint recognition?
Also dual SIM phones which sacrifice the SD card never seem to cut the mustard, you lose the SD card and it might be restricted in some other way (2G only/no data).
Well actually you're not far wrong, it's letting a room privately to someone. If you do that you must be on the tourist register and you must meet minimum standards which basically don't allow you to let a room privately in a flat to someone, you've got to set your flat up as a pension.
And you can't get on the tourist register now anyway because the new mayoress says there is too much tourism. But instead of restricting by zone she's knocked it on the head completely while a study is carried out.
The economics of why they couldn't hire a professional translator despite having a huge budget. Or cultural working practices which allow bodge jobs like this.
Not AI. Who said AI has to understand the world using human language? The original Terminator used 6502 machine code and still managed to wipe out a load of humans.
Net neutrality and QoS are two entirely different things, you can have net neutrality with or without QoS and vice versa. It is important not to confuse the two. Net neutrality (or lack of it) is billing concept, QoS is a technical concept.
The best solution for the surgeon is a network with QoS so video has priority and with net neutrality so their connection isn't throttled for not paying the Mafia fire insurance.
Also worth noting "best effort" is a technical term which can be found in many telecoms engineering manuals and RFCs when referring to QoS. Once you get into the wonderful world of cablecos charging for content and so on then of course they redefine everything as suits them, including QoS.
It's not a social platform, it's streaming radio. People either listen to adverts for free or subscribe to not listen to them... anything else and they're getting ideas above their station, certainly if they think they've got a right to upload people's photos and contacts.
(station... did you see what I did?)
Use the web version of Spotify so you're not using the desktop version which can get much more information from your computer, in a private window so it can't get to your Facebook profile, deny location information, and log in with a Spotify login instead of a Facebook log in.
Log into Facebook from a non-private window and change your Facebook password. If you use a Spotify account linked to a Facebook account then unlink it, if you log in directly with Facebook and want to carry on using the free service then open a new Spotify account.
In the longer term, look for another service.
And those of us who never linked their Spotify account to Facebook or used a Facebook account to log in can sit back feeling smug.
