The manager strolled up to the store at 8am and said she couldn't beleive people were waiting for the iphone.....all 4 of us.
Round the corner at the o2 store there were more than 100 people in the queue.
Me and my mate had put a deposit on ours so we were served first, all the systems were incredibly slow, it finally went through but the networks were advising up to 24 hours for all sim swaps to be processed, it was done by the time I'd got home though as my old iPhone had gone off.
Whilst we were in there a lad who worked at carphone warehouse was in there, he said it's a sackable offense to buy one of the stores stock, so I'm guessing this retailer in question is from there, the staff at the P4U store couldn't have been more different, they said they're expected to buy their phones from the company they work for!
Whilst we were in there the manager from the O2 store came in as they'd only had 40 phones delivered and were asking if it was OK to send them down....naturally they said yes!
I love how their spokesman says "Customers still having problems should get in touch with our tech support" Oh MANY MANY LOLS!
I tried to get in touch with them, was on hold for over an hour listening to tinkly music, I was then greeted with a message saying that due to an unknown circumstances they couldn't answer my call and I should try later.
Currently in the process of moving my domains over to google apps, at least I can't moan when that breaks, but then they wont be charging me a fiver a month per domain for the privilege.
Joke alert - because they are one.
The currently terrible Indian tech support line, or the even worse tech support from DSG?
I think I'd rather risk it with the Indians than let any of the DSG muppets give me any advice, having had a laptop from DSG recently and needing support, it was far worse than any support I had from dell when my desktop died.
Another nail in the coffin really.
They had my upgrade voucher completed since the middle of January, I didn't receive my upgrade until 4th May.
To add insult to injury, they've charged me £16.09 for the upgrade, I was at least expecting a DVD case or a Jewel CD case, not so, 2 CD roms in a jiffy bag with 2nd class stamp on them!
This is their "administration charge" for shipping, pray tell please how it can possibly cost £16 to shove 2 cd's in a jiffy bag and stick a 2nd class stamp to it? I'd love for them to provide a full breakdown of their charges!
From start to finish this company has been nothing but a joke.
