What I don't get is that there are multiple cars passing by; pedestrians and Google's Spymobile,
yet nobody stopped to help (or report etc.) the dead person.
(if you pardon my referring to a dead person as an alive person)
I know that Brazil is not like the UK etc. but you would expect anyone to at least care about a dead body on the road (even to get it out of the way)
If it is a possible future iPad board then does that mean we may see a smaller iPad?
(or has the current iPad got the same size board as this?)
A smaller iPad would be brilliant for Apple - it would encourage more people to buy one ,for sure. (well relying on Price and Spec) - Oh no wait this is Apple.
Oh and El Reg - you seem to have mentioned 8GB Flash RAM - surely that can get a bit confusing?
I've read that this hack has now been ported to the PSP, which means that you will be able to run the exploit on a Hacked PSP (thus requiring no new Hardware purchases or specific USB Flash memory chip hunting).
Obviously it hasn't being released yet and will require your own complilation of the source but it provides oppurtunities for the future.
This exploit should aid finding other exploits for the PS3 and possible obtaining root access and preventing Sony from finding out. This is a very exciting proposition or the Homebrew world.
One of the possible homebrew applications could be an alternative web browser which will run on the PPC arch. - but it will run directly from the XMB.

Never the less I do have a iOS 3 iDevice but I would prefer to watch on my larger screened laptop.
For the record, I am looking to purchase a new iPod touch to add to my existing collection (1 x 1st Gen 16gb and 1 x 2nd Gen 8GB) - Not A fanboy by any means

Downloading Music has made me a bigger fan of the artist.
I remember putting in the name of an artist, downloading ...
then I was a huge fan of the artist. That means ; CD Sales; Digital Sales; Ticket Sales and Merchandise sales (not me).
One of my favourite artists said it himself on the radio a few weeks back;
DRAKE: "People downloading my music is fine, they'll come to concerts and buy my CDs"
Drake was famous and well known before he even released an album and signed with a label. Drake made it without the support of any record labels.
Drake was well known because he gave his music way for free on the internet (mixtapes).
If that isn't a picture of what downloading can do for an artist , I don't know what is.

An Advertising company owned by an OS/Mobile etc. developer is probably better and more trustworthy for the consumer isn't it? You could trust a huge company with correct procedures with your data but could you trust a new start up?
Lets not forget this, Technically Apple is blocking out all third party ads anyway, because if you want tracking , you have to incorporate iAds (I believe this supports tracking?) and if you care about your users then your not going to bombard them with ads, are you?
So chances are the developers not going to put to lots of advertisements on one application, surely that's not good for users.
If iAd does not support analytics then please ignore this post.
EPG looks the same to a F&H (Ebuyer own brand) TV I have. So I'm gonna say Generic China- made television with JL badge and remote.

An iPhone Jailbreak Exploit location? Members of the community or whatever could easily exploit iDevices with Jailbreak :) or a virus of some sort :( .
Although this depends on whether the phone needs to contact Apple's Servers first (its Apple, so yeah), but it could still be done with a breach in the security system of a restaurant for example(especially if the server is a standard Mac/Windows/Linux Box)

Anyway, I'm running the 10.04 LTS, I find it fast and stable. The only problem I had was configuring my WiFi card, "BROADCOM". I had to compile the driver and install it manually via the bash prompt.
While not a problem for me (read the readme) the average computer user, would not know where to start. Obviously an easier way, would to be to connect to the internet by ethernet, then download the pre-compiled version from CANONICAL's server. But both methods would still not be considered obvious for the average user to do. How would they know a precompiled version is available? Alot of the average computer users I know, won't even bother to copy commands from the readme, they'd just call their technical "friend".
What we need to see is, distros shipping with a larger range of drivers. Also hardware manufacturers need to start to produce drivers for Linux. Luckily for me most of my hardware had open source drivers and the ones that didn't had restricted drivers.
Port to htc Touch diamond? - probably not
Anyway, The interface looks good , but will it be the same powerhouse that Windows Mobile was?
Have Microsoft switched their focus to the consumer? or just business people wanting a nicer looking interface.
The former methinks. We've seen this practice from some vendors already. (HTC for example - Touch series)
This would make it appear "ok" in the eyes of a consumer. If they straight up denied access based on the IMEI connecting to the network then the customer would see that as "greedy". However if there was a different SIM size then they would actually be forced to buy an additional data plan- but they wouldn't think that it was unjustified as having to have seperate plans.
Also they network could know what device you have by checking the IMEI number when the device conncects to the network basestation.
On a side note; we can't have these phones with NOSIM in the UK- that would be horrible (but I think thats CDMA?)

Most of this is simple cheap chinese made tech.
Take for example the dashing alarm clock.
The image shows a cheap typical chinese made clock with a photoshopped (or rather MS painted) low EMF logo.
I think possible these people know how ridiculous these tinfoil hat wearers are, or they actually believe this stuff works.
Or even take the Degaussing coil.

However usually if Sony releases a buggy update, it is generally fixed within a week; however it was a long time before Apple released a patch for the iPhone "coma mode" update.
Another point to make is the ridiculous AppStore approval process. This has been said before but I'll repeat it now. Inconsistent and Slow.
Do the right thing Apple... Open it up.
