Re: Obviously.

Re - Also the idea that these researchers benefit in grants from this is wrong. These researchers would have grants to maintain the temperature records whatever the result was.

Why do they bother doing this, then just make up the numbers to match what they want to see?

Re: Translation

Or Translation: "Oh god! We got caught! We're sorry we got caught! We'll make sure we don't get caught again! It was so bad of us to get caught! We look soooo bad because we got caught!"

So what we will do is change the rules so what we got caught for is no longer wrong therefore we cannot be 'caught' for doing it as it is legal now.

Most people I know are moving away from facebook, all it takes is 1 person to go onto a new and 'better' social network, and then a couple follow them (as well as using facebook), then a few more till eventually all new contacts are on the new site only and facebook is relegated to dealing with those friends who won't move, till they drop off your radar as you so infrequently use facebook

I am slightly confused

Are the MPAA (motion picture association of America) legally allowed to detain and question you, are they legally allowed to be involved with a Federal Investigators detention and questioning of you? Have they become some sort of paramilitary force able to arrest detain try/convict and sentence you? will they be responsible for your incarceration. will they run prisons? if they run prisons will you be able to watch movies whilst in prison? would they only be prison movies? 24/7 stir crazy / the green mile / brubaker / shawshank redemption, would that count as cruel and unusual?

Re: Blunders

Got to agree to the above,

what starts as a simple 'can you do us a new website', followed a month or so later with the addition of mail functionality, then a bosses wife's hairdresser mentions adding comments and reviews and a outlet so you can buy from the site, then you need to add analytical's to see how many hits you're getting and we might as well go Google advertising on it to recoup some of the cost, oh and now we need it to link directly to these other websites and data-stores

what do you mean we need more hardware and storage

Apologies for using Wiki, but the latin is as below

The presumption of innocence, sometimes referred to by the Latin expression Ei incumbit probatio qui dicit, non qui negat (the burden of proof is on he who declares, not on he who denies), is the principle that one is considered innocent until proven guilty.

@ AC 11:48

You are an idiot!

As a servicemen , my options were not to serve fries or join the army, a bucketful of 'o' levels saw to that.

You CANNOT join the army at 16 as you are still a minor, you can join the Cadets at 16 but as you are not able to sign a contract till your 18th birthday even if you started training at 17 1/2, you still have the option to walk away.

The army (at Welbeck) and I presume the navy and raf, offer degree courses (what soldiers can read and write?)

And when a soldier leaves the forces 'well trained' what industry do you think requires in depth knowledge of how to lay down suressing fire on an entrenched enemy? Most soldiers leaving the military after 22 years service to Crown and Country have few marketable skills (less then an equivalant chair polisher in the civil service)

'The country is still reeling from the excesses of the last Tory government. When was the last time your train was on time and clean? (No, this is not about to descend into near-religious fervour a la Mussolini-loving housewives) The fact of the matter is, that party made a horse's arse of this nation, privatising anything that wasn't under sole ownership, and then moaning when the great edifice they'd constructed turned itself to a giant dung heap around us all.'
