could you go through what you have written and tidy it up please - clear up the poor english grammar and make it straight forward to read. It reads as if you garbled this down a phone line to a speech-to-text PC at the other end. I have read it several times and it contradicts itself over and over.
Not being rude - I genuinely want to understand what you have to say but at the moment am finding it a tad confusing.
Interesting comments - not sure fully justified. Head to head the poweredge servers we have had have p*ssed all over the HP (compaq) proliants that a consultant twisted my arm in installing (they were epically awful - every component, + motherboard, was replaced in both boxes in the first 12 months).
WRT to Laptops: we have run Dell, HP, Toshiba and Sony in various forms over past 10 years and all have had their moment but Dell have generally been the ones to last longest / easiest to fix. Batteries were Sony fault.
If you're running a rack nest then maybe enterprise-wise they come up short - I have no idea - but in the SME sector they do just fine.
You wouldn't need a TV with any processing power - it would just be a dumb terminal hooked up by 100Meg fibre to a games service provider. VR as the next big thing has been bandied around since the early 90's when Silicon graphics boxes first came on the scene and companies such as Superscape conn'ed millions out of companies with promise of immersive business and game play. Was all crap and will stil take may years / decades to come to fruition. I have my hat ready to eat ...
