Why the hell should people with land lines pay an extra tax so rural areas can have broadband?
I'm sorry but it's the telecoms companies that should pay for this. Not add more tax.
They asked for Government help because it isn't cost effective to put the infrastructure in place.
And what will happen if (not when) all this in place? Will they remove this "tax"?
Why would you want WinMo7 to have backward compatibility with previous WinMo's?
Do you want WinMo7 to be bloated like Windows is?
Personally I think Microsoft should create a new OS (Windows and Mobile) from scratch and screw backward compatibility. Get rid of the bloat.
If your WinMo6.5 app is any good, the author would create a new version for WinMo7 to stay up to date.
If Alien life was detected, it would have been hushed up to avoid global panic and mass suicides.
And all religions will realise that God/Allah/Budda/etc do not exist but have infact been worshipping aliens. Goa'uld System Lords (Ra, Apophis, Anubis) perhaps?

If there is going to be any manned missions to the Moon or Mars (or further) it will have to be an International Co-operation.
We can no longer rely on the US of A for advancing mankind into space.
If the International Community pools their resources (man power, technology and money) we could be on the Moon again within a decade and on Mars with 20 years.

Is Larrikin Music going to sue all the schools for allowing the children to sing this song as well?
IW alienated clans who wanted their own dedicated servers to run training and play in ladder matches.
IW alienated the modding community when they dedicated not to have dedicated servers so there was no chance of people creating custom maps.
For these types of games to succeed on a PC the games need to allow players to create their own maps and create custom mods.
It was for these reasons why many people cancelled their orders and went back to CoD4.
Do this claim take into account cancelled or refunded orders?
This reminds me when there was an outcry from PC gamers about CoD2 which had no anti-cheat technology which caused the CoD community to lock out their servers for a day as a sign of protest.

After saying that Play.com did email me saying that they would try to get the game to me on launch date by using a courier.
And they lived up to their promise. A courier did deliver the game on launch day.
Also on a side note, I've very rarely have any problems with Play.com
Out of the number of years I've used them only 2 items have gone missing in the post which Play.com sent out a replacement with no hassle.
But it's just like any other company, a majority of people have no problems where as a handful have nothing but problems.
Isn't the next step from the Space Shuttle is to develop a space craft that can take off from a runway (or VTOL) and enter earth's orbit without the need for booster rockets?
I think using a capsule is a backward step for the space programme.

It sounds like any application written using ASP.NET could be affected.
The application object could refer to the DLL created by ASP.NET to do background processing on the server.

Embrace the new technology that is now out there. Usually try to buy the competition.
Extend the technology do something a bit more than what is available. if they couldn't buy out the competition.
Extinguish the competitors by out pricing them. If they can't be bought out.
Meanwhile Apple have moved on to the next big thing.
