I'm the technical director of Radio Free Brighton.

We made the decision not to bother with FM at all and are 100% online.

It does make it harder to reach some of our key target demographics, but on balance I think it's a decision we're quite pleased with.

It's not often we get to say this, but we've had this in academia for years.

It's called Eduroam and is particularly useful when at conferences.

Maybe the answer to all this is to produce milestone, long-term-support versions of a browser and backport bugfixes.

The article mentions that this hole is new to 3.6, but that other bugs exist in previous versions. Presumably the bugs have been fixed in 3.6, so why could they not be backported?

I happen to have a ready supply of liquid nitrogen and am considering ordering this kit for the PC in my lab.

The PC in question is standard university issue though, so overclocking might not be the easiest way to get a performance boost...

Far from this lacking a clear purpose, this represents Google's first steps into the world of augmented reality.

Their goal is to monetize all information on the planet right? Augmented reality is the perfect way to escape from digitized information.

I, for one, welcome our soon-to-be-advert-overlaying overlords.
