The biggest issue I have is that my my phone wont "use flash" with the internet unless I do some serious re-coding of certain parts of the applications. So, are they gonna integrate flash, java, etc, into the browser? Or at least have the same type capabilities that the great firefox I use on my computer :)

Not a new concept

They already have breathalizer cars out currently... Its a feature that is installed on people's cars that actually have a problem with drinking and driving... People caught so many times, or whatnot... And it will check before you start the car and periodically during your drive. So you can just get Joe to blow into it for you and drive off...

Also, if the alchohol detection system in this Nissan goes by air in the cabin, couldnt you just roll down the windows and defeat that? Or the reverse, your rolling down the road with your windows down and drive past somewhere that smells like alchohol.

I gotta agree with the comment they should focus more on self driving cars, or useful technologies rather than a baby sitter. Or how about making better use of anti-theft technology... Something along those lines...

Sprint has gone too far

With the recent booting of over 1000 customers for thier "customer service calling too much, which I ranted about in the other comments area..." Sprint has taken a HUGE turn for the worse. I dont care what stick got stuck up their rear, but treating US soldiers this way is unacceptable. These soldiers dont choose to go to remote locations... And they even checked Sprints "coverage" area to make sure they could get a signal and according to Sprint, they shouldnt have had any problems. Yet, they didnt get any coverage. Sprint needs to see the light. If these soldiers werent fighting for the liberties of retards like Sprint, then the US wouldnt be a "free" country like it is today.

I dont think I'll continue with Sprint when my contract expires... This is the second time in less than a month that Sprint has decided, we're too good for the public... And the fact that they are now taking it out on US soldiers, thats too low.

As for "vandalizing" the wiki... Yes and no. It made it funny to some degree, but at the same time I honestly believe that with something like a wiki you need to have something intelligent and useful to apply. As where a forum you can throw any random retarded, your thoughts, and what have you... A wiki is a source of information that SHOULD be factual and not have someones opinion or worthless information in it. They are in New York, intelligent information. They sometimes explode, could be useful if there was more detail. But that shouldnt be the only information on that subject.

I take the wiki's with a grain of salt because anyone can change them to what they think or want to say... Most of the time you find decent information and fairly useful/reliable information. But sometimes it can be WAY off. But hey, its all about free speech :)

Actually... According to Sprint the official number is someone who calls in 15 times in one month... Not just over a duration of 6 months, ect...

Also, each "call" to Sprint can be recorded as many many more than just 1 call... Each time you get transfered to a different department its counted as 1 call, each time you speak to a supervisor thats another call, ect ect... So if you have an issue and that rep passes you off to another rep, you essentially called sprint 2 times, even though you didnt.

Also, its not just the people calling in for free credits... There are a few that were canceled because of Sprint's incompitence. They were overcharging this person for a long time (about 6 months IIRC). Each time they would call in and attempt to get the issue resolved, they would get transfered a number of times (each time counting as another call, which they werent aware of), eventually they would get the issue resolved, but the next month, Sprint screwed it up again... They ended up sending her a letter telling her that she called in too much and was a problem, find another provider.

Also, if you let your friend use your phone to call Sprint, it counts against YOUR calls (while this makes sense in some respects, every call to Sprint they ask you for your number, which SHOULD mean that the call should count towards the number your calling in about, not the number your calling from)...

So as for this article, it holds some truth, but it doesnt tell the full story, and it doesnt tell about the legitimate problems people have with Sprint and how they are getting screwed because of Sprints inability to unscrew themselves...

This brings up another great point. I would venture to say that its possible Blizzard is actually "farming" and selling in game items/money for real life money. It would make perfect sense. More money to them, and because farmers are so common in MMO's, it wouldnt be questioned as to the source of the items. Its a great way to make more money on top of the monthly fee's they charge. What about the people who program it, wouldnt it be convinient to make a back door so they could make a little extra on the side?

I play MMORPG's and I hate the farming aspect, the cheating aspect, the completely unbalanced aspect. But at the same time, I choose to play them. Its just something you have to deal with when playing them.

How to fix it? Well, not for a perfect example, Guild Wars. Now, dont get me wrong, there are still farmers, there are still people who find ways to cheat. But I didnt hear about it as much, AND... there was/is really no point in cheating on Guild Wars. You can get the max level in a short time, there is storyline to follow, side quests to complete, and best of all... its FREE. Thats the key element I think. If someone is playing a game thats free every month, they are less likely to want to pay for more items. And, the items in Guild Wars arent really all that hard to get. Sure you can get some items that are super rare and have good stats, ect. But for the most part, they arent going to take you months or even years to get. The hardest to get item might take what, a month of dedicated playing? Sure Guild Wars isnt a "MMORPG", its instance based... But its a good example of a decent free game that seems to have a semi balanced economy.

If your getting a game for free, there is less chance that people will need/want to pay for better gear/items. Not saying that it eliminates it, but it greatly reduces it.

But thats just my thoughts.

Dual core... Lets get some 64bit support too...

I completely agree that companies (especially microsoft) need to optimize applications for dual core processors... But consider the fact that 64bit processors have been produced by AMD for at least 3 years now? And yet how many applications even support the 64bit architecture, let alone are optimized for it? Almost all programs are still running in a 32bit environment and use a single core.

I've tried XP 64bit edition and it was horrible. Almost no drivers for even some of the most simple of hardware and there were a lot of programs that wouldnt run without using a program that emulates the 32bit environment.

So lets look at the fact that companies are just building on the old technology because they dont have to worry about supporting the newer stuff. When will they start optimizing for multi core 64bit processors, let alone multi core 32bit?
