Nuff said.
Get a grip. Also it's devs not dev's.

@Dou: 'nuff said! What a great summary :)
@TheReg: When will you start being more critical (even objective) in your MS reports?
Your reporters tear apart everything non Microsoft (be it Linux, Adobe, Oracle, etc) so isn't it about time you do the same for Microsoft?
BUT... I just noticed you pick up the MSDN developer zone headlines (right hand side on this screen) so I guess you too are 'partners' of some sort. I'm starting to dislike The Reg and may switch to some more objective news reporting if this continues.
Why oh why do the same as*holes come here to read Ted's articles and then diss him about them? If you know he sucks, don't come back to read new articles damn it. What a tiresome practice having to put up with all these sour-pus*es. Get a job or something! And leave your names, don't post anonymously you slimey pri**s.
Nice article Ted btw, enjoyed the witty comments, as ever.
Very funny to have someone who worked for the guy post here as well, gives a neat overall picture of this dude mentioned.
"Your thoughts will be the only thing that remain private..... but not for long."
True, just today scientists announced being able to 'read' thoughts of subjects:

I left BT when my contract expired, citing Phorm as the main reason.
That really curbed the sales person's enthusiastic attitude on extending my contract for another 12 months. What is there to say? My confidence to this company (BT) is shattered, I mean common, snooping on my data? F*** off retards. Next time do a focus group rather than asking for legal advice alone.
Nice article, agree with most points as they are true, despite a large percentage of people still thinking otherwise, having not realised that the browser is not an operating system and generally being IT illiterate and lazy.
I'm starting though to get fed up with Ted-haters; if you have personal issues with the author don't fucking post moronic comments, such as "he's misquoting Moore's law, etc", "facebook is great so the point about Web 2.0 is pointless", etc. Read between the lines.
You know what?
IMFHO, there is no decent operating system.
They are ALL crap.
From Microsoft, to Linux, to Unix/BSD, Solaris and s***.
Let's build a better one: With consistent APIs that make sense (no unix/win32 derivative), commands that accept similar if not standardized command-line arguments (again no unix derivative), drivers that work (not linux), open source (no windows/osx), snazzy interface (no ReactOS), etc. etc.
Who's up for it?
