Been around for a while...

This has been up and running for over a year now and has most things except Office Standard and Win 7. While the 'old' OSs such as 2003 server are there, 2008 server also makes an appearance in Standard, Enterprise and Datacentre.

It was good to be able to get a copy of VS2008, Project and Visio. If MS wants to give me corporate tools for free then I'm more than willing to use them.

You see a stone covered in a reddish-brown substance which may or may not be blood. do you:

a) Inform the police and let them investigate furthur

b) Ignore it

c) Take a giant leap onto your favourite bandwagon, rant, rave and make an asshat of yourself

Has the pastor had lots of experiance with sacrifice and what the aftermath looks like, as well as good knowledge of the various covens around the place and their rituals (who traditionally dont to sacrifice, same with satanists).

I only wish I wasn't on the other side of the country to canberra as I'd go up there and perform a little blood sacrifice of my own. I know who is getting my vote next time round.

Great Australian Firewall to censor online games

I'm so glad that the government here can see that I am incapable of making desicions regarding what I should look at and that they steped in to help.

Ok, now that the sarcasm is over, how will this apply to a store like Steam? I'm not too sure on the details but if Steam offer the same games worldwide then some of them would fall into the 'unrated' catagory. Will they block the entire Steam network, how about Amazon or any other worldwide game retailer?

FAIL, in a big steaming heap, is the best desired outcome for the firewall.

8Mhz for crappy mono audio?

Why, out of interest, are the baby monitoring devices using so much bandwidth? You could quite easily fit 180 cd quality channels into that space and despite what people may think, their childs voice does not need to be rendered at that quality.

Is it just sloppy design on behalf of the manufacturers, or is it just cheaper to use components with less tolerance and wider filters?

Thumbs down for using 8000kHz when 10Khz would do nicely.
