I remember them
Circuit City are still around? I remember going to one of those once. Overpriced and poor selection so I'm not surprised. (Not that BestBuy is any better but generally they have more stuff and don't get me started about Fry's).

Obviously the experiment in question is to see how much bloody noise they can make without people complaining.
I used to live in MV, right under part of the flight path for Moffet. I can attest to the fact that Tomcat's are f'ing loud. Basically, one of those goes over your house at 8pm and you know it and spend 20 mins picking up the books that fell out of the bookshelves. Not sure how they compare to this.
(Of course now I'm in Santa Clara and live under the SJC flightpath but thats *much* quieter than Moffet can be!)
Black helicopters since they fly those in and out of Moffet all the time.
Do Verisign have offices in Kentucky? If they do then the judge's order will be against them (VS) to do the shutdown.
If not then it becomes, I believe and feel free for a lawyer to correct me, a matter of interstate trade and the Judge's ruling isn't binding per the US constitution since those orders can only be made by a Federal Judge. THere are some exceptions to this IIRC but not too many.
