Making them more energy efficient is only half the problem. Does this process increase their lifespan by an order of magnitude as well? If it doesn't they will still be far less efficient over their lifespan than a CFL.
Agreed on the crappy light temperature problem though. I have a few energy saving bulbs and even though they've got better recently they are still rubbish.
Unfortunately I have dealings with both companies are they both the absolute epitome of incompetence. Glad to see like for like will be joining as it will make ignoring one easier than two.
Tiscali still have 1.8 mil customers? How is that even possible? Do we really have that many masochists living in the uk?
What they actually meant it to say was "right to arm bears" not "right to bear arms" because they were worried about the indigenous animals being wiped out. But then some idiot scribe went and wrote it incorrectly. It would have been such a pain in the ass to rewrite the page that apparently they left it in hoping no one would notice.
