Agree its not a "WinRAR" problem
Not specific to WinRAR, but I guess that gets attention given its past. Other "zip" applications out there include the same UNACEV2.DLL library, for example BandiZip.

Would love it to be true, but fully willing to accept its all fake. In the past I'd immediately dismiss this and move on. Then one day I saw an amusingly church sign (can't remember the details, but I event posted the address). I took a picture and posted it only to have it picked apart by CGI "experts" looking for proof of their assumption I faked it. That caused me to be a little less cynical when it comes to "too good to be true" stories. I'm not necessarily believing this happened, but I'm not gonna shoot it down ;) until I know if we're getting a repeat performance. Who knows, maybe he is holding back details until he is sure he can patent it. Strange stuff happens, sometimes it even true.
I'll concede the "fail" icon doesn't necessarily apply here. And yes I understand the concept of overhead. I was simply saying I don't think there is enough demand for this sort of service for it to continue long term. In my experience, when someone has been willing to let go of an item for %50 or less of market value, they very often sell/give it to a friend or family member for that amount, or sell to a pawn shop where they get immediate cash-in-hand instead of waiting for a gift card.
Might be good for cheaper items not worth wasting your time on ebay, but $122 trade-in value for an unlocked Google Nexus One. They ebay for over twice that easily. Appears to be same for other items like Ipads. I may be wrong, but I see this disappearing after a time in a puff of smoke.
I don't pretend to be more than an idle reader on the subject, but I've been of the understanding that the available number of IP addresses under IPv4 are due to be exhausted in the foreseeable future. Additional TLDs would probably hasten that don't you think? On the conspiracy side, maybe this is intentional to push people to adopt IPv6? Any opinions?
I read the title and got real worried for a second, but then I realized it only involved talking to people other than yourself. Most people just think I have a headset on. ;)
On that subject, did they factor in those using headsets or bluetooth built-in to the car? If they lumped them all together, I suspect handset users would have even greater chances.
