4chan, the 'internet’s litter box,' appears to have been pillaged by rival forum

Re: PHP is not…

You realise that 'commentary' is from 2012, right? You still quoting it as a 'proof' that PHP is bad just shows you have no recent knowledge of the language other than prejudices perpetuated on the internet.

This reaction commentary is also 5 years old, but even then the lion's share of problems from the original commentary had been fixed:

You can write crappy code in any language, if we stopped using C/C++ because of all the people who don't know how to check for buffer overflows, we'd have to shut down most of the internet.

Strange that that is your experience, as the whole thing about Vivaldi is that you can customize the UI to an almost ridiculous extend.

It's the prime reason I switched to it, myself, as I (also) have certain solid opinions on how my browser should look, and what certain hotkeys should do.

The only other browser that gave me as many options was the old Presto-era Opera, but that went the way of the dodo when they switched to the Chromium engine.

Thumb Down

I found out how they make money...

Just searched for the title of my own website, and 90% of the results were ad-sites with text from my website in the description. The description on Cuil, that is. Going to the site in question showed nothing of the sort on the page, just ads

The top result was a link to an old URL of my site, which has been off-line for over a year...

Thumbs down, cause they need to do some work before I step over from Scroogle...
