Apple iPhoto gets in your face

iLife 08 buried everything in a folder too since before that it was commonplace on Mac 'help' boards to find someone had gone in and played around with the photo structure and mucked up their iPhoto library entirely. When Apple put in the media browser to allow people to select photos more easily to attach to emails etc, then the file structure wasn't needed quite so much.

People who know what they're doing and do still want to see it can right click on the iPhoto Library icon, choose 'Show Package Contents' and get taken straight into the file structure - no messing in the Terminal required.

O2 did get some orders out

I didn't think I'd got through on Monday on O2's site since kept failing part way through and the first non-error message I got was in the afternoon which was just that they'd take a look and didn't give me an order number.

But today I have a despatch email and a tracking code...

You're not joking. I tried for ages on Monday and resigned myself to not getting through since had no order number. Figured I'd just try a store on Friday.

Today I get an email with an order number to tell me that it's processing (although presumably out of stock) and that I can check the progress online by clicking on 'view my orders' which doesn't appear when I log in.

So... who knows. Does having an email to say my upgrade has been successful mean that I now can't go and pick one up on Friday morning at a store? Or will one magically appear at my desk?

What a mess!
