I doubt that if you get a new PAYG it will be on/below the required firmware version to carry out this hack.

Most new iPhones will already be on the latest firmware with the latest modem drivers - thus making this unlock, useless.

I've not noticed any problems with the new MBP.. maybe I am just lucky. Maybe I wont upgrade me iPhone just let until they find a cure for this possible bug?

Are you *sure* you cannot add a .me or .uk domains?

I've had my old .uk added for some time and when the new Mobileme changes came into force - I also updated the domain to blahblahblahb.me - which worked fine (and immediately).
