Don't worry they all answer to our Chinese Communist Overloads. Like all the other corporate clones, Larry just do their bidding and trying to convince Trump will let up on his tariffs. The Chinese control all sides. Business is bought out by Chinese bribes and the culture mouths a bunch of slogans that undermine the culture. Our universities are heavily influenced by Chinese Communist sympathizers pushing their cultural revolution ideals (since they learn how effective it was at destroying their own civilization). Funny, how I don't see Chinese industry asking for open markets or their population demanding for open borders.

Thank you for your comments. I agree that the law should be changed to allow children to remain with their parents if it can be determine that the adult is their parent. However you are just wrong about your assertion that this did not happen under previous administrations. The difference is that the current administration is doing it in every case while previous administrations did it selectively. However those exact policies of giving a pass to most "families with children" created an incentive that has seen a 1000x increase in these type of cases. So it looks like the traffickers found the golden ticket, this caught the administration unprepared for the situation and how to handle it. The goal of the current policy is to reduce illegal migrates not to hurt families. Unfortunately the current law also prohibits children from being incarcerated with adults (for there own protection).

Oh, I also agree with you about the problem with extremist in politics (Like people who call people stupid and make comments about their race or religious beliefs)

The Reg has turned into a "fake news purveyor with half truths only Stalinist and Maoist cultists could admire. The facts are this is the same policy the Bushes (yes Laura your husband) and Obama pursued (yes we have pictures). The law is in place to keep the kids safe from predator (like BBC hosts). Most of these people are not fleeing anything and just want to jump the queue (something I had to wait for). I see the hordes in France trying to get into Britain, are they not safe there? Fools Errand

I have been an IT professional for 35 years. I worked hard to encourage my daughter to follow in my footsteps since she was 2 years old. That lasted into the first year of college when she told me she didn't want to study computers and wanted to be an elementary school teacher. She is a wonderful and brilliant teacher I couldn't be happier. For my two younger sons I did not try to encourage them to go into the computer field but in college and grad school both changed their course of study to computer science.

Sorry I listen to this BS when I was younger.

Bad Science Alert!

As with most of these so-called social "science" studies we see a total lack of the multi-variable nature of human interaction and thinking. This is quite obviously a study creating a hypothesis and examining a limited number of variables to prove the hypothesis. Most readers of the Reg can see through this shabby research.

Maybe what would be a better experiment would question the "peer pressure effect on people with higher IQ" and it's effect on their beliefs. ("God", global warming- that is sure to get a rise) Most of these people don't want to be called "stupid". So what impact does their own self esteem have on beliefs in areas that they are non-specialist?
