Actually, the A for arts is something that the maker movement is pushing for.

Adam Savage of Mythbusters fame did a great speech at this years MakerFaire, all about adding in the A to STEM, and it isn't just about promoting the latest tunes! Art is the creative side, and without that life is boring. Check out the speech on youtube

Still illegal

Whilst I can, to a certain extent, agree with the comments regarding how sony deserve the treatment, this is still an illegal activity and should no be condoned.

Sony have lost my business due to their actions this year year, but I would never go smash their windows or anything like that. Also, even those these attacks have put a rather large amount of egg on the face of Sony, they have also caused widespread disruption for the poor souls who have spent money with them. Just because someone has spent some money on a PS3, or played some online games, they shouldn't be made to pay by exposing them to possible id theft. Not only is the attack on Sony illegal, but it could be classed as akin to theft from the users due to forced removal of a service.

Betrayal of trust

Not only is he causing potential disruption to customers, etc. he is betraying the trust that was placed in him as a sys admin. As a unix admin, I have full access to all critical data and would never think of doing a thing like this. The fact that he's done it shows he is an untrustworthy individual.

Actually!

To be fair, I remember that program. He made the joke and then refused to open the case. After numerous requests to prove he was joking the detained him. Pretty sure this was pre-9/11.

All he had to do was open the case and he would've got off with a scolding.

Worth a visit

If anyone hasn't been yet, go! This place is a fantastic place to visit for anyone. Its not just about computers and cryptography, there is one person's entire Churchill collection which fills a rather large room, and a cinema containing early projectors and memoribilia.

It says the legs alternate up/down, so there would be three pointing down (the legs) and three pointing up (to hold the vase) - therefore it is a vase holder!
