"Hacked by Chinese"
That phrase makes me a little nostalgic.

While I do think the article could have discussed Google's lies a bit more than it did, it still did a good job of conveying Google was doing something very dishonest. Yes though, if it were Apple doing the same thing, there would be several articles devoted to it for the next couple of weeks.
Took me a while to get that one. For people studying simplified characters:
你已经失去了爱的感觉。 (Ni yijing shiqule aide ganjue. You already lost love feeling.)
Even if you drop the "yijing" (it's kind of unnecessary), it does not fit the song quite right. Perhaps one of the pilots of the new fighters will attempt their own translation when serenading China's Kelly McGillis.
There are some jokes involving Xenu and homosexuality (both male and female) in China running through my head, but I guess I should cut it short here.
Paris, 'cause she gets serenaded all the time.
But there already is a Red Star Linux from Argentina, also communist themed. I cannot find any link to download the North Korean distro, but will try to get my hands on it any way I can. In the mean time, I think I'll take up learning Korean, at least enough to know what the menus and everything else says.
Maybe she should not have had the implants removed (back in 1999 was it?). Excuse me if I am not well-versed in Australian breast regulations, but they may no longer meet Australian standards.
Paris, for too many reasons, aside from the fact that no one has mentioned her (at least as I am writing this).
While I am guessing a typical Register reader knows how to avoid this problem, it could be your computer they zap. If you have a program that is turning your computer into a zombie, it could be the origin of the attacks. That AI would need to be able to find the true source of the attacks.
In the US "Liberal" means anyone who wants greater government spending. Often the ideology comes with intolerance for any criticism of certain protected groups (racial/ethnic minorities, the poor, sometimes even avowed enemies of the nation). The definition of a liberal is much more narrow than in other countries. Often I find that in some respects, American conservatives (at least those described as conservative on fiscal issues, not on cutural ones) are often more similar to British and European liberals than conservatives.
I don't think Savage is a liberal by any definition. Regardless of her other beliefs, Wacky Jacqui would have definitely been considered a liberal in the US after she banned Geert Wilders from Britain for his criticism of Islam.
Are there any studies on science education in other countries? I am well aware of the international math and science tests that always put Japan and Taiwan at the top, but I have never seen the results of a questionnaire like this one with regard to other countries.
I would guess that France would not score very high on such a questionnaire, just based on this video-

(There was one a while ago that had subtitles and was not just someone pointing a camera at his television, but I can't seem to find it now (>_<)).
Do you think Paris could have answered that one?
thomas k., while money for government services does not come out of thin air, I can see where it might get just a little annoying when you live in a state like New York, which is pretty well-known for finding ever more ways of milking its citizens in possibly every aspect of their lives, and the services they provide with it are mediocre at best. And that is if they ever manage to get that bloated budget passed on time.
