Too much sunshine makes you commit suicide

Pensare

Ermm.....

There are a lot more potential reasons than just the level of sunlight.

If you feel depressed in winter, you tend to look forward to summer, thinking it will bring you better times. If it doesnt then you are in a position where you are thinking "This is as good as its going to get".

Conversely as you enter into winter most people automatically resign themselves to dark months ahead and a light at the end of the tunnel.

The imagery in the mind is striking and could subconciously assist the depressed through winter but that extra "help" would not be there for you in summer.

MSDN not displaying.....

Well.....

If you use M$ sharepoint, only IE will display their "webpages" correctly. Tried Safari, Firefox 2, and Firefox 3 - all display it "wrong". Havent tried chrome yet! IF Safari doesnt.......

Re-install

Surely the Jesus-phone would automatically re-anoint it-self with the blood of Jobs in the event of a Judas Install? Let us learn from this blasphemy and anoint ourselves, unto the skies, that we may be cleansed with His attractive and tactile products once more.

On a serious note, neither windows XP nor vista will fully install and update itself within 30 minutes, let alone putting on your office suites and other softy wares on. I can't speak for the Mac since I've never installed one.

Going by how long it took me to reinstall my PDA once, and put the necessary software back on it could be a while.

But then if you ran the MAC store you'd probably have an image which you flash them with every night to ensure that they are tippy top for the next day....? In which case you would be looking at 30 minutes tops, and they'd probably be doing it anyway.

Its a poor way of justifying this supreme overreaction.

What a waste of money.

If, for the sake of argument, a person was in a position to download material with which they would engorge their eyes and ears; Throwing copyright cares to the wind, because it's free......

Do you really think, that that kind of person, is suddenly going to go out and buy everything they currently pirate? This is a no-brainer - its mostly kids without any money, one glance at the torrent comments tells you that.

I have an enormous cupboard of paid for DVDs, and a huge rack of paid for audio cds, and computer games. I pay for most of them via Steam, perfectly legally even though I can get them from a torrent in 6 hours for free. I am not going to spend any more money on that stuff than I currently do, whether they stop me from DLing torrents or not.
