The opposite of 'right-minded' is 'left-minded'.

"I think you'll find that's called "free market economics". If you don't like the price the market sets, you do not have the right to interfere in said market and create artificial barriers (e.g. region locks) to try and get the price you want (which is what the RIAA, BPI et al try and do)."
And the price the market is setting is 0.00.
Home Use Program falls under the enterprise licensing agreement from your workplace, so is again different from the retail version that's being discussed here. You can do 2 installations on different machines, though not sure if replacing a machine counts as a "reinstall".

In this case, the council would need to have the drives certified as wiped. Otherwise they end up with the problem of having some excel spreadsheet with ratepayers' personal details ending up in some computer in Nigeria. I know in several authorities I worked for, we had to have the drives certified as wiped anyway, even before sending them off to the landfill (in the days before mandatory electronics recycling).
Actually, the first time I read the post, I missed the join between "I'll jump to Linux when..." and the post contents. I almost went searching for a Linux version of Photoshop before re-reading!
And, you are right about OO/LO compatibility... I frequently have to use LO to convert Office files from 2010 or 2011 saved as Office 97-2003, to something that can actually be read in Office 2003.
I hadn't heard that! I'm downloading the latest Kubuntu images now. Been using it since Gutsy, now using Precise almost exclusively (except for the compulsory Wintendo). Wouldn't install Ubuntu Unity if you paid me... I've got Windows 8 in a VM at work and find it a pain to use at best, though I admit part of that could be Virtualbox.
I've even installed Kubuntu Precise on a computer for a friend who is computer-clueless (approaching clue-resistant). He is quite comfortable with it, and is even getting used to, yes, the command line.
Empty pot.
Rinse out.
Warm the pot, always.
Rinse out.
Now, one for me, one for thee, one for the pot, one for luck.
Boiling water.
Switch off.
Let stand for one moment.
Pour the milk.
Cup, saucer, spoon.
Sugar.
Pour, should be just about nice.

Exactly, their main strengths are in their first- (and second-)party titles. Mario (best-selling franchise), Pokémon (best-selling RPG franchise), Zelda, Smash,... I thought Shigsy was beginning to lose the plot with the Wii (actually he began to lose it when dropping the CD-ROM deal with Sony, and look what happened there), but the Wii U, definitely.
Oh well, Pokétards have another generation of games to look forward to in October.
