Re: When this happened to Blackberry...
When this happened to Blackberry it was a damn sight longer than a few hours and it RIM claim to be primarily for business.

So they decide to get outraged about a product that's been around for ages? I nearly bought this for Christmas last year. What a waste of trees. The sooner that paper goes under the better, taking the equally crappy Metro with it.
Though I do love the Gin and Titonic name, utter genius.
"Only 38 per cent of boys enjoy writing, compared with 52 per cent of girls. More boys found writing to be "boring" than girls as well: 57 versus 41 per cent. Boys also thought that writing was more for girls than boys - 60 versus 43 per cent"
Surely those figures all just balance each other out? If more boys find it boring then conversely less boys will find it interesting, and that could also account for the boys who think it's just for girls.
I think I want one of these jobs asking stupid questions to idiots and then just making up the numbers anyway.
The privacy people would do better complaining about Google / You Tube being forced to hand UK user details to a USA company (viacom) which is against the UKs Data protection act.
Erm, pretty sure there's a thing called safe harbour (yes with a U!) in the DPA which allows data to be passed to foreign countries that we have agreements with, and the US is just one such country, as is India hence all the call centres being able to access our bank details.
What we should be more concerned about is their slow updating, Manchester wasn't updated for years, the Urbis and the city of Manchester stadium were still building sites on the net whilst I drove passed them everyday!
I agree with most of the above comments, being a T-Mobile customer and having them randomly charge me for calls which should be included in my call plan, I'm really upset with them for trying to charge me when using a service that allows me to call my friend who's moved abroad.
The sooner my contract runs out the better, the network's rubbish too, frequently get messages saying emergency calls only and limited service. I can't even log onto their website properly, shabby operation all round really.
